23.01.2022 https://nwmbc.tidyhq.com/public/schedule/events Hi All, North West Multiple Birth Club has organised a free session from mental health charity Love Me Love You and we would like to open it up to clubs Australia wide. The first session is tonight, I’ll post the details for the second session later this week. Join your fellow multiple birth parents (online) in this invaluable free presentation from Love Me Love You. This presentation will be presented via Zoom with a link to... be sent prior to the presentation. This is the first of two presentations (number two is the following Thursday). This powerful presentation utilises positive psychology methods to help build awareness around mental health. Utilising lived experience, participants build awareness of the challenges faced on a daily basis. This enables them to gain insight into mental health as a social and personal concept; helping to create a positive change. Please book your spot via the following link: Janelle Danger Barnes-Whitmore here’s the link Join Zoom Meeting https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88549367570 Meeting ID: 885 4936 7570 Passcode: 491108

05.01.2022 IWMBA friends - Monica Ferrie - Toilet Training Educators Toilet Training twins or more sounds daunting but Monica Ferrie from Toilet Training Educators provided many valuable hints and tips at our recent online webinar. Monica shared with us the four stages of training: Modelling, Exploring, Training and Automation. A key point for us parents is to ensure toilet training is a normal, low key, calm event. Head to the website for access to information sheets or to book a consultation. www.toilettrainingeducators.com.au
02.01.2022 Today marks the start of Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Action Week 2020. This year’s theme is ‘Tell someone who cares’. This year, more than ever, it is vita...l that expecting and new parents who are struggling know they’re not alone and can reach out for help. And just as importantly, they can know that when they do reach out, they will be supported by those they confide in. We know that parents of multiples are at increased risk of developing perinatal anxiety or depression, says Ashlee Tenberge, AMBA Chairperson. So it’s important for all our members to know that there is information and support available to help them whether during pregnancy or in early parenthood.
