25.01.2022 Have tried many ways of keeping track of work and planning out the visits including phone apps and the like but nothing beats a good old fashioned calendar.. And the best sort of calendar is a Doggo one that is half the size to keep in the car..

23.01.2022 Front yard clean up in Watsonia today with a reduction in agapanthers and removal of blackberry and an overall thinning out to let the garden breath. Hard to see how much went into this from the photos but huge difference from before.

22.01.2022 Big last minute job for a sale prep and photos getting done tomorrow. Best I could do in one hit with short notice.. pleased with the end result.

20.01.2022 Huge day on a greensbourgh property that has been left without love for sometime. Probably biggest clean up since lockdown finished. Still needs another 4 days to get it back to its former glory but at least it is tidy now. Definitely feel a sense of satisfaction from a job like this.

19.01.2022 Working very local today with a number of jobs in my own street.. This lawn pictured is on the 2nd highest setting on my mower and come spring this lawn is going to need thatching and brought back down to a more manageable level.... so very thick. This job is only my 2nd visit and the client originally said it would be temporary until his health improved but he is so happy with the work he has asked me to do it permanently.. happy days.

19.01.2022 Name is the time to fertilise both your lawn and your garden. For the best chance for your lawn over the colder months and help keep the weeds at bay you should fertilise your lawns now.

19.01.2022 Second visit on a new client in my street.. happy with this lawn. Hard to see from the pics but very hard lawn to mow and edging involves a lot of care. This garden was maintained at an extremely high level by the owner but sadly passed away last year and I am the 3rd gardener to attend the property.. hopefully she is happy with my service.

18.01.2022 Big big day and very last minute job on Greenwood drv watsonia. Photographer was due at 3pm and with it all to do I was pushing it. Managed to get the job done and proud of my efforts.. yet again I would have preferred to shorter visits but don't get to chose sometimes.

17.01.2022 This was a budget clean up for a client that needed to keep the costs down.. Hope she appreciated the extra efforts I went to. Came up well with the time restraints I had.

14.01.2022 2nd visit to my new clients and a big prune of shrubs and trees as well as 2 complete yards to do as the houses are side by side. Happy with how this place has come up with the lawns being a huge challenge the first time I was there.. yet again no catcher used. Lovely clients and makes 2 days in a row working for really nice people who appreciate the effort put in... always a pleasure no matter how hard the work when appreciation is shown.

13.01.2022 Spending my Sunday playing a bit of catch up on a some lawns in Watsonia. One of these 2 lawns is incredibly difficult lawn to do with lots of edging and very thick grass... setting number 5 for most of this lawn when an average setting would be 3. Try to get all the jobs done before Easter but we should be good.

12.01.2022 Challenging property today with an extremely steep front lawn... got the job done and recommended weed and feed in a weeks time.

10.01.2022 Pretty hot today and not the time of year to be pruning roses but this is what the client wants. Also removed all the yukkas from the front which is OK with me as I am not a fan. Now time for a break... cheers

08.01.2022 This is one of my first clients since returning to gardening and must dig up the original pics from the first time I did the place after lock down. The lawn was full of weeds the first time I did it and after a couple of weed and feed treatments it is a lovely lush lawn and gets cut on a high setting. Would love this lawn in my back yard

08.01.2022 pittosporums can be a real problem but not when the client asks the cut them right down and thin them out.. makes it much easier for them to maintain. Took out the rear limbs that are up against the fence which makes it simpler to trim the tops when you don't have to reach across. Within 4 weeks they will have filled out.

07.01.2022 Been held up with rain a lot this week but still managing good results with lawns around Watsonia and Bundoora and Greensborough. Really lush lawn this one and with the extra rain has made it exceptionally soft under foot. Also noticed a large increase in rodents all over the area with Georgie scoring this rat and making short work of it.. she has a sense of accomplishment and feels like she is contributing to the work load.

03.01.2022 Gardening as usual but will be taking a break from the 18th January till the 1st of February. So if you need anything done I am around till then... happy holidays.
