24.01.2022 Hoady sadly passed away on the morning of 29 December after a hard fought battle. The Atherton Football Club would like to pay tribute to our former coach, president and all round club go-to man who dedicated so many years to both junior and senior football on the Tablelands. Hoady was also a TJSA and zone representative and an integral part of the club's youth development in recent years. In 2017 he was deservedly voted the youth Coach of the Year for the FNQ Zone, a recogn...ition he was both humbled and honoured to receive. There wasn't anything within the Atherton club that Hoady couldn't or wouldn't help with and his knowledge was invaluable and will leave a massive gap within our football community. Our thoughts and support go out to his family at this difficult time, including his loving wife Manda, sons Braydn and Jackson and granddaughter Ivy. We are saddened to have lost a great leader, mentor, friend and all round top bloke.
