23.01.2022 Well this is the result of some ones extremely poor work Electric caravan brakes wired up with the wrong size wire and the wrong type of circuit protection Wire too small heats up causing voltage drops and destroyed magnets in the brakes We are waiting on some new brake linings , ute has been rewired to Australian standards , some one is very lucky that they haven’t ended up in the coroners crt

15.01.2022 Control box for release flaps on rear door/tailgate of fertiliser truck, it powers up electric rams to open and close the flaps to alter the rate of flow of fertiliser , Well fun and games,two manual switches corroded off by fertiliser, replace switches including wiring . Check both circuits working both ways Try the remote ,one way or working ,found corroded connector on circuit board , bypass and check One relay on board not working , replace the pair of relays on board and recheck all as it should be , nice to get a win

07.01.2022 Well it’s been a while , this is a 406 Peugeot Monarco A very rare limited edition upgrade to the normal V6 had many issues that we have slowly been working our way through Sent the engine ecu and body control module away just before Xmas It came back , refitted and tried still had quiet a few dramas Spent a bit of time checking and rechecking still seemed to me that the ecu was still not right ... Well few phone calls and discussions ( polite word for it ) it was decided to return the ecu and body module , now with the key key reader and pin module witch is built into the column combination switch It would seem that all this was needed to check and hopefully repair the ecu, To be fair it’s the first one that the repairer has seen and only going on past repairs of this make Hopefully by end of next week all good See more

01.01.2022 He all good people , been a little time since my last post , had a very busy few weeks getting as much done as possible before surgery . Now have a brand new left hip joint , and no bloody pain . Will be probably about another 4-5 weeks before I'm back full time although I do have a plan to spend a few hours up there every day or so after the end of next week . Will be six weeks before being cleared to drive again at least on the road. Thank to all my customers who have texted , phoned and otherwise enquires after my health all is going well. Look forward to being of assistance to you as soon as possible . John .
