Having nice stable feet allows for a solid foundation for the rest of your body to work off, but can also reduce the risk of a traumatic injury, or a more long term stress related injury. If you’re feet are rolling in on the descent - look at working on ankle dorsiflexion mobility.... Submaximal work... 6 minutes running up and down some stairs working at the highest intensity you can maintain for 6 minutes (try not to go too hard too early - but you still gotta push). Complete rest until you heart rate is about 50% of max then go again - if you have no way of measuring your heart rate, once you get to a point where you are still puffing but can speak in full sentences you’re good to go Try hit as many rounds as you can where you can maintain quality form and your intensity doesn’t drop too much.
