24.01.2022 Calming porridge Food is one of the best ways to keep our mind body in check. To calm our nervous system, balance our blood sugars (hungry!) And gain nourishment. Oats are a great calming food, thats why porridge is one of my favourite breakfasts. Recipe:... 1/2 cup of oats 1 cup of coconut milk (add water if you need more moisture) table spoon of tahini 3 prunes 2 teaspoons of ashwagandha powder Directions: add all ingredients in a saucepan, stir and combine until oats are soft and creamy. Should only take a few minutes. Toppings: table spoon of full cream bio-dynamic orgainc yoghurt (gut health, protein, good fat) sprinkle of pepitas and sunflower seeds, and crushed walnuts. 03.01.2022 Super Easy Super Quick Gut Healing Soup. Forget packet diet soups and huge amounts of supplements. I love this recipe or soup making method, it's Super Easy, Super Quick, Super Nutritious, Super Healing for the Gut. Lightly fry seasonal, or favourite veggies, its also a great recipe for those veggies nearly gone in the bottom of the fridge. Add spiced and herbs for taste.... Now!! I put veggie mix in my @nutribullet, pour in boiling water to cover veggie mix, add bone broth, veggie stock, or miso paste. Wiz Up!! Serve in a bowl, add fresh herbs and a drizzle of oil, I used hemp oil. 10mins, your done!! Yum!!
01.01.2022 Have we learnt to slow down, and breath!! To take a few minutes for yourself, (breath).... or are we still just trying to keep up a pace? Ive been coming back to breath everytime I feel rushed or paniced, (breath)...... Checking in with those feelings, and seeing where its coming from, examining whats really going on, (Breath).. Most of the time the panic is not needed, and coming from a place of old fears, and patterns that no longer serve us, (breath)... But maybe once did, release them, they no longer serve you, (breath)... Learning to change through internal feelings, rather than outside ideals. Learn to come back in to mind and body, walk in nature, stop for a few seconds, take three deep breaths and carry on, breath deeper in to your stretching, instead of quickly moving on, especially when in thought. Hope you have made a time to take a moment and a breath <3
