17.01.2022 Just a heads up for anyone who have kids in the market for a job (post China flu) may I suggest a trade. The construction industry has a huge turnover of apprentices these days and I get it, it’s hard, heavy, hot,cold,blood, blisters kind of work and no air con. We are already importing all sorts of tradies from around the world to keep up with demand, not to mention the natural attrition of old farts like me. If your kids want $2000.00 a week in the hand once qualified steer them down to your local Tafe to look at their options.. We have way to many unemployed I T or social science graduates out there sitting on there bums. Harden up kids and have a go. Thank you Justin Hunt hope your words will prompt some very talented teenagers out there to consider one of the best trades in the world.
