11.01.2022 YES, WE ARE STILL OPEN Dear Valued Customers, In these unprecedented times we wanted to let you know what we as a small business are doing.... Our number one priority is the safety and peace of mind of all our team and our guests. As the situation with COVID-19 continues to develop, we are being guided by the advice from the Government and particularly the Department of Health. Following today’s announcement from Prime Minister Scott Morrison regarding a ban on nonessential indoor gatherings of more than 100 people, we are able to confirm that JAAKS Restaurant and Bar complies and is still open for business. In addition to our already rigorous and 5 star council rated health and hygiene practices, we have implemented extra precautionary measures, including increased frequency of cleaning and sanitisation of restrooms, door handles, tabletops, hard surfaces and soft furnishings. We have also placed hand sanitisers throughout the premises. We have increased the proximity between our tables to comply with social distancing guidelines. The team at JAAKS understand the importance of strict health requirements and we have reinforced with our employees that they must stay at home if they are unwell.
