05.01.2022 What a crazy world we are living in right now! In a normal world the team here at J A Barnes Seafoods and Bencar Fisheries would fillet a few fish direct off the boat and sell through the shop at J A Barnes seafood factory, some are filleted and kept aside for local community group as sponsorship for their fish teas (we try to never say no). And the rest are sent on a truck to the Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney fish Markets for the bigger companies to purchase. We here at B...encar fisheries don't want our local community having to travel to get fresh quality seafood, we want everyone safe and free from COVID 19. We are going to offer our whole fresh fish straight off the boat to the local Port Broughton community at market direct prices before the fish go on the trucks to the bigger companies and city slickers!
