Anyone with a van that has a water ingress warranty is required to keep services up to date (once every 12mths - most manufacturers have strict guidelines about exactly when these need to be performed by according to your purchase anniversary). If you don't keep up with your services, you will forfeit any warranty offered & these warranties cannot always be re-instated. 16.01.2022 This is what goes wrong when so-called repairers think they know what they are doing... And do not have a clue! Please do not let just anyone touch your Euro! If you need things done, ring the manufacturers (the van builder or the suspension manufacturers eg AL-KO). This customer was extremely lucky. The wheel came off the van at a low speed. So no really major damage. And most importantly, noone was hurt. This was the result of a so-called repairer being a cheap-skate. Instead of using a new one-shot nut on the hub, they decided to just use lock-tight?! So for as little as 20 dollars not only did they cause this damage but ruined the customers holiday plans! ...Imagine if the wheel flew off going down the highway at 100km/hr with lots of other cars around?!
