22.01.2022 ‘Hollywood’ 50cmW So.. about that camping trip on the weekend.. let’s just say we learnt some valuable lessons 1. Secure your food.. We got ambushed by a wild animal who stole my reusable shopping bag with my bread in it. It was kind enough to leave a trail of my cutlery behind 2. you must always secure your rubbish bag inside a sealed tub (whatever that thing was ripped through out garbage and let me tell you it had some great teeth on it ) 3. Secure your shoes Af...ter fixing all that up in the middle of the night we then woke up to my mans shoe missing we found that in the bush and hubby insists the animal took it to do nasty stuff with... hmmm interesting theory but his foot scent isn’t exactly letting off pheromones I’m hoping we get better at this camping stuff if you have any camping tips feel free to share Swipe left to see some beautiful Aussie scenery See more

11.01.2022 Caution the following post is long and contains the word ‘shit’ a lot I’m having one of those reflective days! Not everything in life is black or white. There’s a look of grey matter in between. A LOT. It’s easy on social media to just show the amazing stuff in someone’s life, when in reality we all know that’s bullshit behind the perfect posts, the perfect home, perfect family, perfect marriage, perfect job, perfect business, there’s a lot of imperfections. A lot of b...eautiful imperfections. I feel I’ve done everything the hard way. I bombed at school (my TER was terrible ) I worked my way up in my jobs (starting as a waitress) instead of getting a uni degree (funnily enough I was accepted into uni for nursing but I didn’t believe in myself enough to be able to study and pass) I married in my 20’s, did the expected thing, had my two kids (I wouldn’t change that for the world) had a good jewellery business and thought ‘life is complete’. That’s when the universe said ‘nothing is ever complete’ And just like that the rug wasn’t just pulled from under me, the rug was burnt in a big fire pit (figuratively speaking). Marriage and business ended, and all the while the social media world knew shit, even family and friends. See what I mean? I’ve created a new world for myself since then. I have a crazy big imperfect family now. It’s so so hard being in a blended family, but it’s imperfectly beautiful. I’m still not uni educated, but stiff shit, I’m doing alright without it. I self loath and worry all the time about my business, being good enough as a parent, a partner, but, I’m doing alright. I look in the mirror and see myself ageing and wishing I was in my 20’s again. But stiff shit, I’m alive and I’m grateful, (and I was dumb as shit in my 20’s ). I wouldn’t change one thing if I could go back in time, it’s what makes me imperfectly beautiful and where I am today if you can relate feel free to comment See more

04.01.2022 Vale Joseph Sabato, 38 years young, the uncle to my two eldest children, tragically passed in a car accident last Thursday. I’ve struggled as to whether or not to write this post but I feel I need to express my sadness for my ex-husband and his family, especially his parents, his wife Kat and their two little girls he leaves behind and most importantly pay tribute to Joes life. I struggle as a parent to not have control at what life unexpectedly throws at my kids. Death is confronting at any age, especially the young. They lost an Uncle that they both admire, especially my soon to be 16 year old. His Uncle Joe lived his passion with owning Hume performance and was a well respected drag racer. He lived his dream and I hope my children aspire to that as it’s a rarity in life and takes guts to do Much love to Joe’s family and friends
