21.01.2022 CHANGES TO VISITING HOURS: As from MONDAY November 30th 2020 Jacaranda Village will lift restrictions on visiting hours. Visitors will no longer be required to enter the Village via Admin and will be able to enter through either the Manor or Cottages. Visitors will require to maintain social distancing rules, a mask must be worn and the visitors sign in form and temperature must be recorded. We THANK everyone for their co-operation, understanding and patience over the past months. We are not out of the woods yet but if we continue to follow the guidelines and adhere to the visitors requirements rules our path will continue in the right direction. WELCOME BACK

21.01.2022 We would like to say a big THANK YOU to the Irymple Senior Citizens Club for their generous donation of $10,000 for the purchase of equipment for our client's. Two new beds and two pressure relieving air mattresses have been purchased with the donation.

20.01.2022 Hello JV Family and Friends, as you would be aware there have been new restrictions put in place from 5.00pm today (31.12.2020) as per DHHS recommendations. At this stage Jacaranda Village will not be altering its visiting hours but we ill be closely monitoring the situation and will review it again on Monday January 4th 2021. However if DHHS advise otherwise we will review sooner and follow their recommendations. We do however ask that you respect the following: 1. Keep you...r visits to ESSENTAIL VISITS ONLY 2. Continue to social distance and wear a mask at all times 3. Complete the visitor tracing sheet on entry to JV 4. DO NOT VISIT if you have travelled from NSW in the past 14 days 5. DO NOT VISIT if you have visited the hot spots in Melbourne- as per DHHS website. Our client, staff and JV family health and safety is first and foremost and together we can get through this. 11.01.2022 Yesterday the Premier - Daniel Andrews announced that visits to care facilities will increase from one person day per client at a time to one household per client per day. In order for Jacaranda Village to comply with the current social distancing guidelines, clients may have two (2) visitors per day. Visitors MUST be from the same household (address). Visiting Hours will increase from 1:30pm - 4.00pm each day. We thank you for your ongoing support and co-operation in these e...ver changing times. Regards Team JV

10.01.2022 We are very excited to announce that Jacaranda Village as part of the community collaboration project highlighting leadership training between SuniTAFE, Sunraysia Institute Of TAFE, Princes Court, Chaffey Aged Care and Murray House Aged Care has won the Industry Collaboration Award in the Victorian Training Awards today. We are honored to be part of the collaboration and now look forward to representing Victoria in the Australian Training Awards late November.

05.01.2022 We are so excited to show you the most wonderful set up for our jigsaw fanatics here at Jacaranda Village! We were very lucky recipients of this #isoking Puzzle Board from Stagekings Australia. As you can see Joan has wasted no time in getting her puzzle out and putting the #isoking puzzle board to great use. Stagekings Australia provide stage and structures for Music and Arts Festivals, TV, Sporting and Corporate events. However with the Covid-19 outbreak they turned their talents to making other products and kindly donated 20 of these Puzzle Boards to isolated residents in aged care. So a BIG THANK YOU to the person who nominated Jacaranda Village and to Stagekings Australia for a great prize.

05.01.2022 Remembrance Day - 11.11.2020 Today we honoured and remembered those who served in the armed forces. A very personal ceremony was held and our clients laid wreaths and held a minutes silence. Lest We Forget.

05.01.2022 VISITING HOURS UPDATE: We will be increasing our visiting hours from Monday 5th October 2020. Visitors will be welcomed to Jacaranda Village from 1.30pm - 3.30pm each day. You must still wear a mask when visiting and only one visitor per client per day is permitted. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
