17.01.2022 Not so much a tip, but rather a request this time... We’ve all been there and had that moment where that pimple has driven us absolutely mad and we’ve just had to squeeze! That’s ok! We are only human. And we can improve with education, so, in future, consider this.... ... The bacteria, sebum & dirt that lives within that pimple/pustule/nodule or black head that you’re contemplating squeezing, can very simply travel to nearby pores when poked and prodded, which equates to new breakouts, scarring and longer skin healing times. Don’t fear, if you do have breakouts and they are making you feel self conscious or upset, you don’t have to just live with them. We can help! Breakouts on skin would normally suggest that your skin is more alkaline than acidic and a happy skin needs to be in an acidic environment. 15.01.2022 Did you know there are 2 types of sunscreens out there - chemical & physical. Chemical sunscreens are just that - laden with chemicals. Rather than just blocking and reflecting out all the UV rays the second they hit your skin, instead Chemical sunscreens allow for the rays to penetrate the top layers of the skin and then neutralises the harmful effects. In doing this, it allows for free radical damage to occur within the skin and this contributes to pre-mature ageing! So ...while you’re protecting yourself from getting burned and skin cancer threats, your definitely not protecting yourself from the effects of ageing skin. So the solution is, buy a physical sunscreen. If the first words on the ingredient labels are: Zinc oxide or Titanium - then you are safe. These are physical sunscreens & will reflect all rays the second they make contact with the skin so you are safe from all accounts! In this day and age, everyone leads a busy life, as a result most people spend 5-10 seconds cleansing their face, but that won’t do much for you. Remember what your trying to achieve when cleansing - removing makeup, debris, bacteria, sweat & pollution. 5 seconds of cleansing won’t do that. ... You also want to work those great cleanser ingredients into your skin and not throw your money down the drain. So remember when you’re cleansing, count to 60, work in circular motions and work from the jaw up to the forehead, then the décolletage up the neck.
