18.01.2022 How are we keeping our patients safe at this time? It’s pretty hard to practise Social distancing at the dentist but we have someone up our sleeve..... Our Patients are not strangers. We are phoning ahead to ask a few questions. If you have been overseas in the last few weeks or if you have any of the following symptoms ... . A mildly upset tummy ( all that toilet paper might come in handy after all!!) . A sore throat, coughor aches and pains. We ask you to postpone your appointment for 2 weeks. Secondly. We will ask you to use hand sanitiser when you first come in. And thirdly, while we have always practiced Standard Precautions we have added an important extra step. So on top of thorough cleaning of the treatment room and equipment, we ask that each patient uses a medicated mouth rinse before any treatment. This greatly reduces the spread of all germs We all want to stay healthy at this time and do whatever it takes to keep all our families safe. See more
