22.01.2022 Giving back to those in need or less fortunate. So so proud of 4 of our JHD girls who decided to cut their hair for charity. The girls smashed their fund-raising target and all have beautiful short hair now. A big thanks to Mel from Heir affiti for doing the girls hair. The girls locks will be sent to Variety-Hair with heart charity. Congratulations girls. A lovely thing to do.... See more

15.01.2022 Another weekend in Glen Innes done right. 12 hours of classes and a performance at Roseneath nursing home. How wonderful for the kids to entertain the older folk. The smiles on the oldies faces is so worth the effort. A special afternoon finished with a Highland Fling and Sword dance for Mavis who celebrated her 100th birthday.

12.01.2022 A busy day in the Glen Innes community. Church Fete performance backed up by a 15min performance at the art Gallery. We managed to squeeze a few hours of lessons in the middle. Fabulous day in sunny Glen Innes giving back to the community. Looking forward to next week as we perform in Dance Spectacular

09.01.2022 With classes and meeting up every week on hold for the time being, we are still busy practising and we are doing some challenges. Here are a few of our Easter Hair creations.

09.01.2022 What an amazing weekend we had with our students successfully completing their Highland Exams. It was a great opportunity for the girls to further their dancing skills not only practically but also with theory work. Despite the over 30 heat the girls did continued with exams with minimal complaints! A massive thank you to our examiner Caroline Woolett for travelling to Glen Innes from Sydney and also tackling the heat so we could complete our exams! Well done girls, so proud of your efforts!

04.01.2022 What an incredible day! A massive thank you to Sarah Hendry from Scotland and Douglas McFarland from Gosford for spending the day teaching us - we truly appreciate you all travelling to Glen Innes to share your skills. It was fantastic to have Elisha join in the workshop with her beautiful dancing! Everyone had a wonderful day and we have all learnt so much! To finish the day with a PT session with Rachel Maree Kerr was the icing on the cake! Looking forward to having the students from Armidale and Gosford join us for what we are sure will be another day of inspirational learning and dancing Sarah, Douglas
