16.01.2022 So this is a photo of me and a bunch of towels that I rolled 30 while I was in Uganda briefly. I loved this part of the day because it was the most productive and when I could feel ‘accomplished’. Kinda crazy; now folding anything is considered downtime a break. Seeing this today made me realise how easy it is to slip into dissatisfaction and longing longing longing. Right now I could think of nothing better than sitting and listening passively, eating, walking, singing - sounds like a dream. But then I was so anxious to do do do. Mum had a guru moment the other day and said something about striving for goals, and how that’s awesome but you gotta take a minute to love where you’re at now too. So this is my lil reflection, maybe you’ll relate, maybe not. Thanks for being my journal today

13.01.2022 This is a photo of me and a bunch of towels that I would have rolled 50 times during my brief stay in Uganda. Towel rolling time was my favourite part of the day because it was the most productive and I felt ‘accomplished’. Bonkas because now folding anything is considered a break, ‘downtime’. 02.01.2022 Heya lovely people! Putting out feelers for anyone who might be interested in filling up some newly freed time with skype singing lessons? Would love to use this as a way to keep some interpersonal connection, the kids (or you!) busy and my little business afloat. ... I usually charge $28 for a 30 min lesson, however am more than happy to negotiate if life is a bit financially sticky for you at the moment.
