21.01.2022 And that's a wrap! Work complete on full restoration of the 60's Gull Longboard while keeping as original as possible. Only alterations were the addition of a wood block for the nose and a leash loop for a leg rope. The board was given a heavy sand to take out the various lumps, bumps and delaminations. As mentioned previous there was bad damage and lifting through a fair amount of the board especially around the nose and fin areas. The blue stripes were resprayed and the bo...ard was completely reglassed sanded and then finish coat polished. Very happy with the result! I'm so overwhelmed with my day to day tasks that I didn't even notice it missing until this afternoon when I was planning on hitting the waves at my local break. This is just not fair. I worked SO hard for this.
