25.01.2022 Happy 8th birthday us!!! It wouldn't be 2020 without a zoom party! The year we'll never forget, but it's no reason to stop our long standing party tradition!! Recently a study was conducted on local retailers that reported, on average, for every $100 spent in a small local business roughly $73 stayed in the local area, versus $43 when supporting 'non local / national chain' businesses (ie $57 left town). An interesting stat!! As we turn 8, we celebrate everything there is about being Local. So, we're asking "HOW DO YOU LOCAL". 08.01.2022 Lovely to be notified a couple of days ago that we won 2020 Small Business Champion by Council of Small Business Organisations Australia for assisting RFS firies in Taree in November last year. There are 1.5 million business represented by COSBOA. To our teams in our Taree stores in November 2019 .... this is yours! Hats off to all of you for your incredible efforts in keeping up such stellar support up to the RFS over that period! It sure was a trying time! We had staff co...ming to work from evacuation centres, staff who couldn’t contact their family members and staff who didn’t know if they had a home to go home to.... but all along they plugged away at work knowing this was the best way to help the community in crisis! To the tens of thousands of small business who did the same... sorry they gave this to us when you’re just as deserving!
