01.01.2022 This year has been a tough one for a lot of people. We were very lucky to be able to keep the cafe open during the most uncertain times. From the bottom of my heart, a huge Thankyou to each and every one of you who has supported us this year. Whether you’ve been in daily, only a few times or just one visit. You guys are the reason we’ve been able to stay open and come out the other side of all this craziness. Covid forced my job to change a lot earlier this year. I stepped ou...t of the kitchen and was out the front where I got to reconnect with so many long term regulars and had the opportunity to properly meet alot of new faces. I’m so grateful for this as it made me excited to come to work again. This year was also a big one for me personally and being here at work, seeing you guys each day helped me more than I’m sure most of you realised. I fell inlove with my job again and that got me through the hardest days. To my staff, I am so thankful I got to keep you all!! Some of you have been with me a couple months, some of you over six years. I love you guys, I spend more time with all of you than any other people in my life and you bring me so much happiness. You’re such a fantastic bunch of humans. I appreciate your all your hard work and your dedication to the cafe. Together, we got this We will be taking a little break for Christmas starting next week. Wishing everybody an joyous holiday season. Love being part of this little community in the hills. Hopefully will see some of you around And for those of you dying to know what’s happening with @haynesstreetlarder I have been working very hard to get it open and it’s close!
