Up and coming talented apprentice Alexanda Bryan followed instructions to the letter and rode LAKE TANGANYKIA an absolute treat to take victory over the rest of the field. 23.01.2022 The big fella CURSE FREE headed off to Werribee today and put in yet another terrific run. He was given a great ride by Jason Maskiell and it took a good horse to go past him in the straight. ... It was great to see some of the big fellas connections at the races today .....it wont be long now before we will all be celebrating a win !!!

20.01.2022 What a great way to spend our Sunday morning Coldstone & Vonnski ... Went down to Coronet Bay this morning and gave these two lovely horses a maiden voyage to the beach where we intend on doing plenty of work with them down the track. They both started off unsure but bluffed each other into a degree of confidence which saw them both taking it all into there stride. Thank you very much to the awesome Emily Brown and our great friend Lucy Flaherty for coming down and taking these two out for some fun at the beach.

15.01.2022 Curse Free before & after, The big horse has come an extremely long way from when he first arrived from up north. ... He threw together 8 runs this time in and towards the end he showed that his racing style has become that if consistency and sheer application on his behalf. He put together a 5th, 4th , 3rd , 2nd He goes to the paddock now for a well earned let up and will be looking to turn those close runs into a first up. Hell be back soon

14.01.2022 Stakes day at Flemington Racecourse is always a great day of racing despite the questionable weather However it was a true honour to watch the mighty Hartnell have his last race where once again he didnt let anyone down by running third ... He is a true king of the turf and as tough as they come. Happy retirement old boy you have given race fans a great journey and we will miss seeing you every single year, in every single major race Hats off to Godolphin Racing for the management off Hartnell to keep him at the top over and over again

14.01.2022 The big guy never disappoints Curse Free ran over 1700M at Stony Creek on Saturday where things didnt quiet go his way, racing to keenly in the early stages of the race and was beaten 7L... In an attempt to get him racing in a more composed manner, we did not hesitate to run him on the quick backup over 1600M at Mornington today (4 days later) where he was awkward away missing the kick by two but raced beautifully to run 5TH beaten 1.6L His first victory under Jack Laing Racing is only around the corner

13.01.2022 !!! SPRING IS IN THE AIR !!! As the sun sets tonight after a magnificent Spring day we thought we would share some photos of the goings on throughout what has been a busy week.... Last Friday night we had our very nice staying mare VONNSKI make her debut with a comendable effort in a 1200m Maiden at Cranbourne & then the speedy POWERSTONE stepped out on Monday morning and rounded off her preparation with a strong win in a trial over 1000m recording the fastest time for the day. Even the young horses KINGDOM FIGHTER , SONGAWAR & DIVINE WATERS had a big week doing some pleasing fast work on the training track. We even managed to get the lawnmower out and give the grass a much needed haircut!!!

07.01.2022 YEARLING UPDATE All of our yearlings are now SOLD, so we would like to take this opportunity to welcome to all of our new owners who have jumped on board and also thank our current owners who continue to support our stable....we have got a LOT to look forward to and we cant wait to have you all back at the track !!! ... She drew a wide barrier against a tough field on a very wet track and still managed to storm home from back in the field to run a gallant 6th only beaten 3.25 lengths. CURSE FREE and VONNSKI seem to have nothing on their mind other than enjoying an afternoon outing to their grass paddocks.

06.01.2022 The last week has been full of drama and contention. It saddens the stable that Robbie Laings licence has been put into disrepute after serving an extensively long and successful training career that has exhilarated all connected.... As far as the decisions of RV it is obviously hard to swallow as it effectively puts a cloud or the end of an era for the Laing name, however it is the responsibility of the policing bodies of racing to uphold the integrity of racing for which is a massive job given the size of our great industry and are bound to make some controversial decisions at times right or wrong The Laing name is one that will live on in this game for a very very long time. 01.01.2022 Had two runners at Stony Creek today -Proletaire -Curse Free Proletaire arrived at the stable as a ... 21 start Maiden who looked to potentially end his career as a maiden Only being tried up to 1200M he looked to show very little ability, it was quickly recognised he was out of the Champion Primrose Sands so the stable set to embark upon a staying mission. Today he stepped out over 1700M and was eased in running but flew him to run fourth beaten .9 Lengths his best run to date!! He will stay all day. 01.01.2022 She is up and about! Tootz, trialed today at Cranbourne over 800m for the first time with the stable. ... Its been a very patient prep as she arrived from NSW but took a long while to acclimatise. She is in purple and red, travels in front where she is on the bridle but was never asked to let down at any stage where she eventually ran second.
