18.01.2022 Morning Comment if you knew all of these already or some about me??? Thought I’d share a few things you might not know about me, I haven’t done one of these in so long.. .... 1- Yes I have had a tummy tuck, I wanted to touch base on this as I get slammed sometimes for not stating it, I’m literally not going to write in every post hey I’ve had a tummy tuck guys!!!, like yeah, because that’s what you do So I thought I’d address it here, I had one when I got my breast implants 10 years ago, that is why my belly button looks disoriented it looks like a smiley face when you get a tummy tuck they actually remove your original belly button & make one up.. I used to hide it because I was embarrassed about it but now I just smile & love it, it’s apart of me.. I’ve still worked hard to keep my flat stomach, in fact I had a flat stomach before surgery just had a lot of loose skin that needed to be removed after carrying twins ... 2- I laugh probably too muchif there is a thing, my kids think I find everything funny, I kinder do though to a point better than crying I guess. 3- I say the dumbest things sometimes like even after I’ve said it I think wtf but sometimes I think it makes people more at ease around me as I usually just say the first thing that comes to mind, I don’t really think much before I speak . But I do have a filter trust me 4- I usually have blue eyes but some days they are green and some one is blue & one is green. Weird?? Not sure but I’ve had it all my life 5- I’m 5 foot 1, I state this because sometimes I run into someone on here in real life & their response is I thought you were taller? Sorry to disappoint but I’m short n sweet 6- My favourite food is seafood I’d have to say scallops geez it’s a hard decision though, even prawns I could literally sit there for a couple of hrs peeling prawns & eating them, I don’t get over it I ran out of room, maybe I’ll do another soonish but there is a few things about me that you might not of known!! 18.01.2022 Comment if you enjoy the bulk or shred more?? Or both??? . The difference 10kg can make. I do prefer the one on the right or maybe just slightly leaner I’m not asking which one you prefer on me, I’m just showing you the caparison between the two.... . Do we need to do both? Hell no.. It’s definitely an individual choice to bulk/cut etc but I’m enjoying my journey of building & in order for my body to accomodate to grow the muscle, it does need to be in a surplus.. . A lot stay at maintenance & build muscle, it is a much slower approach though as that extra food, geez it makes a difference to my lifts, so lifting heavier will recruit to more muscle. Goes hand in hand really.. At the moment I’m like just plotting along with just strength goals in play. I will cut a bit for summer just so I don’t feel sluggish and then do another bulk next year, I love the extra food to help with my training but I also want to enjoy summer a bit slimmer.. 17.01.2022 Today a few reached out to me that are struggling through lockdown & they dislike what they see in the mirror . It’s such a hard time for everyone but please remember you can still get results through this shitful time, it’s our mindsets that let us down. We think with all the chaos going on in the world and so many things is unknown to us example when can some of us go back to work we just think what’s the point in looking after ourselves ... . What’s the point in exercising and you promise yourself you will stop binging on those biscuits once lockdown is over but by then because we just don’t know when this will end, you will find yourself disliking yourself even more. It’s a vicious cycle, some of us have ourselves in. . Let’s change that though.. let’s change that thought now!!! . Tell ourselves that the world will go back to how it was soon enough and I’m going to do my best to get back on track at taking care of myself now.. . Once we break that negative thought in our minds, lots change !!! Meaning- the way you see things. I want you to look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself your worthy, your beautiful No more negative- it’s no ones fault what is going on and we just have to except it but we do not have to let ourselves go... 15.01.2022 Who gets upset by their scale weight Yes I’m guilty of this too, I always used to weigh under 50kg or just slightly over (held that weight for maybe 2 years) Now I’m sitting on 55kg and I’m leaner than when I was at 52kg- even when I was 50kg I think I’m leaner now.. Why? More muscle mass!!!... I lift and I do my best to lift heavy shit!!! I’ve progressively overloaded each week meaning lifting heavier, more reps or an extra set!! I feel way more confident at 55kg and a lot stronger, lifting weights go hand in hand with feeling confident I think that boost you get when you lift something heavy- there is no other feeling like it!!! This is why photos and measurements are highly recommended because I could of seen that number and lost focused on my goal.. I’ve excepted the fact now I’ll never be 50kg if I want to build muscle !! 14.01.2022 Two very different body types... . Hard to believe I let myself go like that on the left but I decided to change for the better.. After having 5 children... I finally decided to do something about it..... . Took me probably 10 or more attempts at weightloss of yo-yo dieting to lose my weight on the left photo but I finally found some consistency and stuck at it. Weight loss is haf!!! As food is lifeI still struggle to this day of over eating but I get back on track and move on... no point losing sleep over it!!! . Right photo- I am so damn proud of her, don’t get me wrong I’m proud of both and what I’ve accomplished but to get that lean on the right was HELL, I struggled then with food too, some days I ate 1000 calories over my daily cals and it did very much fxxx with my head then as I had a comp booked... . I grew up playing sport 7 days a week, hrs on end of exercise so I have always had a huge appetite and kinder just obsessed with food. I love to eat out and catch up with friends and try new restaurants and different tastes, food is life for me.. . I have found a balance now, but I can honestly say if I wasn’t weighing my food and tracking macros I’d probably be closer to the girl on the left. . I hope this photo inspires someone that you can get results- yes there will be setbacks & yes it will be so damn hard!!! BUT.. So much more rewarding when you know you have worked so hard for it... 13.01.2022 My clients check in this morning @brooke_fit_mum Fuxxxxx amazing results!!! Brooke follows everything I tell her & questions like 1000x why the scale isn’t dropping!! Sorry Brooke but I explain to her that we go by photos & measurements, I think we go through it weekly explaining the scales lol... This week Brooke did drop 700grams, that’s how much our weight fluctuates, you can be dropping fat & be leaner without that number moving. I won’t say how much she has dropped in scale because I think it’s in sufficient as look at the photos 7 weeks & had one complete week off dieting over Christmas as I think it’s very important to enjoy life even more at that time of year. We are going to drop some more body fat then go through a lean building phase to get Brooke ready to compete in 2022. I can’t wait to see the package we bring to stage. Keep killing it girl....
12.01.2022 I’m up & down with the process of bulking as you guys know I start & I gain then I want out I’m feeling solid but I’m also feeling strong.. If I want muscle I gotta deal with the fullness for a bit but I must say my training has been awesome so makes it all worth while. Will start a cut soon with @tjpersonal.training I’ll keep you guys posted, can’t wait to see the muscle I’ve built as last mini cut was to just move a bit of fluff .... Happy Saturday guys!!! 12.01.2022 I feel like my body is coming in the way I want it too But I’m totally exhausted I thought I was doing too much training a few days ago but I felt it this morning and I’ve picked up on small things that I usually do a lot of and not be exhausted to do so and haven’t had the urge to do those things because body has been tired I’m guilty of over training time and time again, I guess being isolated and I have the setup here to train I just want too. Yes I’ve had my res...t days but my training sessions have gone a little too long. I need a nap most days which is kinder not new usually on a good week I might only need two naps but lately it’s been everyday.. I’m listening to my body now and I’ll rest and see how I feel on the weekend too train.. Just steps and recovery for me between now and then.. Yes I want results but more importantly I want to enjoy life and when your constantly tired it’s not worth it.. I will find my balance. Thought I’d do a post on this because some might relate. . 11.01.2022 What is the one thing that has made a difference in your training to get your results? This question I get asked a lot. There isn’t one exercise or one certain food that will give you results. It is really just having a game plan, having a program so when you walk into the gym you know exactly what you are doing.... There are so many important factors, diet, form, training intensity, genetics , consistency that come into it but having a game plan should be no1. I’ve structured my program at the moment to really build up my lower body & also to increase my squat, so one day I do heavy squats the other leg day I do a variation of a squat with a lighter load to help increase my 1rm for squats. For me too dropping back slightly on my training has really improved my lifts was training 5, now 4 a week Also I don’t have set days to train now, I go by how I feel in the morning, my goal is to get 2 leg days in, one heavy, one medium and one glute focused along with one upper but if I’m not recovered enough from previous leg day, I don’t push myself to do another, I’ll rest another or do an Upperbody session. I found in the past id just train lower or upper even if I was extremely sore, don’t know about you but when I’m sore I definitely can’t get the full range of motion. I record every lift I do so I can better myself week after week. If starting out I’d advise to have set days to train so you can get yourself into a routine, once you have established a routine more than likely it will become your lifestyle & as you progress with heavier weights you might choose to back the training off slightly too The reason why most don’t get results is because you half ass your workouts, you take 5 or more minutes in rests as you get distracted talking to someone. You don’t challenge yourself, most lifts you probably still got 8 reps in the tank so that tells me straight away you should be lifting heavier. And not consistent, you train one week then have a week or two off then repeat. It’s really just progressing week to week and being consistent, that’s it!!!
09.01.2022 How to get results? . 1- Consistently, bla bla you have heard this before but it is the only way. You can’t train one day then rest for a week and repeat & think your going to get results. You can’t train for a mth then have a couple of weeks off then repeat & think your going to get results. . Consistency- you have to find something that you love & consistently challenge yourself week out, yes have rest days as they are just as important as training days but don’t take week...s for your rest. If your find your losing interest in what you are doing to keep yourself fit, then find another challenge, there will be something you will fall in love with and want to consistently overload progress each week.... . I have found my sport & as you guys know how much I love lifting, I love the challenge, I love the fact I’m up against myself unless I’m training with someone & they are competitive then the competitive Jac comes out But hey that’s fun to be competitive at times, makes it all more interesting to better yourself.. . Always have challenges in your life, strive to always do your best & most importantly love what you do... . Stick at it, you’ve got this!!! Have a good weekend everyone See more
09.01.2022 You guys have followed me through my journey from over weight to competing to binge eating and to now and I can honestly say this is the happiest I’ve felt with my physique & myself in a very long time... I still need improvements like sticking to my macros I have been eating over a bit lately like a fair bit over. It will take some more time for me to adjust to not wanting that fullness from an extra large meal... I do crave that sometimes, just feeling so full but when I ...do over indulge I feel tired and just yuk, I don’t however feel guilty or hate myself for it like I used too. I no it’s wrong and I move on from it.. . I do know that I have come along way in the past few mths & still have some things to improve on.. . I’m writing this to let you know that we all have some sort of issue because there is no such thing as perfect and hating yourself for it will not improve the way you feel about yourself. . 09.01.2022 Morning I got a lovely message last night from a follower last night and after I shared it in my story I got some more.. . I’ve said in the past I use my platform to express what I’m going through or how I’m feeling at the time.... And a lot relate, I guess because we are all human & I don’t like to bull shit on here. . I follow very little on here because I get angry- I get pissed off with some of the stuff I read and it totally turns me against sm but then I receive comments like last night thanking me for keeping it real and you know what!!! It keeps me going, I’ll never be able to change some of the bull shit I read on here but I want you to all know that what I post is exactly how I feel or think or recommend... . 09.01.2022 Hey guys! So the other day I put up a post and was undecided whether I wanted to cut calories or not! I’ve decided I want to do a cut now. I’ve chunked up a bit after Christmas I’m ok with it, but I know if I keep going the way I am it will get out of control. .... This might sound strange but anyway I’ll share it, instead of weighing food I’m eating the whole container Weirdo Example 500 grams of turkey mince is included in my daily calories along with 5 potatoes as I roughly know what they weigh along with my tub of yogurt, tub of strawberries, 2 scoops of whey, sandwich thin, salsa !!! I basically eat the same food everyday anyway & I will still eat my kfc on the weekends or a dinner out, either one. Calories will be 2000 ish which is a decent deficit to what I have been consuming these past mths. I did weigh myself this morning 58.1kg so yes I’ve chunked it on.. It is the heaviest I’ve been in a long time but I’m the strongest I’ve been too. Still happy with how I look , I definitely don’t look at myself and think I’m fat, just want to scale the weight back abit before a building phase. Weight training 4 x per week Steps 6k as I wasn’t doing any before. That 6k is walking too, I clock what I walk not just walking around the house. Watch goes on when I walk out my front door then comes off when I’m back. Thinking I’ll do a 10-12 week cut which will take me to the end of March, hoping I won’t have to change diet only add a little more exercise, example more steps. But definitely won’t be extreme as I want to be able to maintain it, I love exercise but I dislike hrs on end of it.. . any questions pop them below
07.01.2022 Comment one thing you are proud of about yourself??? . I hope you all understand that you still have every opportunity to be the person that you want to be. You do deserve to live a life you love Something I have been working on lately is what I want my life to look like but more importantly what I want it to feel like.... I want everyday to feel like the best day. My page here has drifted from exercise videos to I guess more my life experiences of fitness, taking you through my bulk/shred then comp, the fxxx up reverse diet to binge eating to slowly getting back on track with tracking & to now with intuitive eating. This past 12mths I’ve definitely had more downs then ups but I got through it. I’ve also made sure my life offline is better than my life online, it’s making a huge improvement to my happiness... 04.01.2022 My new training split i thought I’d share what I’m going to be implementing into my training in my next 8-12 week block. So if you have followed my training in my story you would of noticed ive had a lot of quad focused exercises in my program- example squat, Bulgarian split lunge, hip thrust, leg extension, sissy squats. I have been doing hamstrings/Glute exercises but more quad, now I’m thinking my quads are too big don’t laugh if your close to me I always went on ab...out my skinny legs & whinged a lot now I feel like I want them just a little bit smaller & work more on my rear. So hamstrings/Glutes is my focus next block, hamstrings can’t take as much as the quads but I will spread it out through the week that recovery is sure to happen so growth occurs. Glutes can take a lot. Exercises I’ll be changing- bb squat to box squats as box squats are more rear focused. Bulgarian split lunge- I’ve been doing these twice per week but more quad focused closer stance I’m going to still do these as I believe these are the king of mass for legs but with a wider stance to make the exercise more glute focused. Glute bridges- this will be my main lift to progressively overload the Glutes on and build the booty as it’s less quad focused as opposed to your hip thrust. I still want to do quad exercises but my focus will be hamstrings/Glutes this block 8 weeks . RDL once per week & I want to give the American deadlift a go too once per week as that’s more glute focused. And of course your kickbacks, abductors, laterals movements , pull throughs, kb swings will be in it. Upperbody will remain very similar in this block as to last block. As always I’ll pop it up in my story & explain why I’m doing it. I hope to get back to training in a couple of days maybe a wholebody once I’m feeling better x Let’s smash this week guys!! 01.01.2022 Happy Friday everyone . * my weight is up again this week See I’m getting excited now when the scales change. I know if I stick to the plan I get results!!!... Dah No but seriously that’s where we all go wrong, we go off track because we aren’t seeing results or it just got too hard.. . Must learn to love hard!!!! . 01.01.2022 My client @megwalpolexo Results after 7 weeks, we started training together when gyms opened up after the 2nd lock down. Meg wants to approach her weightloss journey slowly & doesn’t want to be in a massive deficit as to busy lifestyle which I think is smart & understands that it does take time to lose weight but Megs strength is through the roof compared to when we started together & as you can see body composition is changing. Slight deficit Weight training 5 x per week... Steps 10k Tracks diet . This is a lifestyle, not a diet. Well done @megwalpolexo can’t wait to see the next few mths progress!! See more
01.01.2022 You guys made me stalk my own page from last night... I do forget like we all do of how far we have come or what we accomplish, sometimes it takes someone to remind us.. And again PHOTOS/ PHOTOS I repeat that because it’s the best way to track progress, I know at the start let’s say a weight loss journey you take your before photos & think you just don’t like what you see I get it!!!I’ve been there myself I remember doing mine when I was over weight, it was f har...d!! Mentally.. Still take them and date them, trust me you will look back at them and think WOW I am so damn proud of myself!! - This photo obviously it isn’t my over weight photo but MAN that girl on the left I reckon I could squat her 1000 x I didn’t like being that lean, the only time I liked it was when I watched my videos back of me training and thinking ohh yeah, love all that muscle But in all honesty it’s not maintainable, I was disgusted at what I looked like some days but it was apart of my package that I bought to stage and I have no regrets!! Looking at the girl on the left makes me want to get even stronger, I can’t explain why maybe it will come to me and I will share it with you guys but since comp I’ve just wanted to be fuller with curves and be strong & healthy.. I’m saying this as I know a few women strive to be thin... if that makes you happy then by all means go for it but if you want a more fuller look like my right pic we do have to except the scale going maybe even a dress size too going .
