24.01.2022 Dropped off Quokka and Quirky at their new home near Singleton! They have lots and lots of grass to eat at their new home!

22.01.2022 Shearing is done and dusted for the year! We had 64 animals shorn in Thursday (54 of our own and 10 from agistee and a local breeder). Thank you to Chris and Craig for coming out to shear our alpacas and Amanda for coming out to help us.

20.01.2022 It’s a light fawn male for Jackpot Jr.! Raoul was born at 11am Sunday, weighing 7.5kg. It was a difficult birth as he was malpresented with his head and one of his legs tucked under his stomach. We managed to pull his head and other leg out and assist his tired dam in getting the rest of him out as well. ... But all’s well that ends well as he hasn’t let it stop him, he was already running circles around his mum before she knew it! He is also very friendly and comes up to you. Dam: Birrong Guinevere Sire: Birrong Prince Of Thieves

16.01.2022 It’s the first boy of 2020, a medium grey male! Rodger Rabbit was born at 7am Saturday weighing 5.44kg. He was up and feeding very quickly and putting on weight very well. He has some leg problems and we aren’t sure if it’s due to mineral deficiency or a genetic fault so he will most likely be a wether. Dam: Graewen Platinum Gift... Sire: Oasis Elron See more

15.01.2022 It’s the first baby for Jackpot Jr. of 2020, a dark brown male! Radical Reggie was born at 8:45am on Wednesday weighing 8.5kg. She was up and feeding quickly. His fleece is already beautifully locked, fine and lustrous. He’ll be a new member of the show team next year. Dam: Avon Park Gorgeous Golda... Sire: Serialars Ultimate Phenomenon See more

13.01.2022 Just as we were finishing up with setting up our quarantine paddock for some new arrivals, the wind picked up and blew open the gate so the girls decided to come in and give it their seal of approval. They were very upset when they got herded out despite the fact their paddock is a lot bigger than this one!

13.01.2022 It’s another boy for Jackpot Jr., a dark brown male! Riku was found at 5pm Tuesday already running around and feeding from mum. He weighed 7.86kg. He rounds up our first drop of UP crias and we are are very happy to see the quality he is putting out with this drop. Dam: Lowanna Kimi... Sire: Serialars Ultimate Phenomenon See more

12.01.2022 It’s the last cria for this season, a white suri female! Renee was born at 11:15am on Easter Sunday weighing 6.06kg. She’s not a solid white as she’s got two fawn spots on her ear! She does have amazing fleece on her already and we are looking forward to see how she goes in shows next year! Dam: Birrong Charisma... Sire: Birrong Picador See more

12.01.2022 HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY!! Humans went awol today and headed to the beach for a swim and fish and chips. The weather was great and don't worry we were home in time to feed the paccies. Hope everyone had a great day!!

12.01.2022 Not all births are smooth sailing. On Tuesday, we had an unexpected birth with the cria born 5 weeks early followed by a prolapse! It was team effort with Craig holding her down, Helen getting the equipment and Wade, under the advice of our vet, putting the uterus back in! Wade did an amazing job getting it all clean and then putting it back in her, she is recovering well! Unfortunately, we did lose the cria and won’t breed from the dam again but not everything can be perfect!

11.01.2022 It’s the first female for Jackpot Jr. of 2020, a medium fawn female! Rubey was born at 8:30am on yesterday weighing 7.22kg. She was up and feeding quickly. We haven’t been able to properly look at her as her mum is VERY protective so we always come back from her covered in spit! Dam: RGS Kaleetha... Sire: Serialars Ultimate Phenomenon See more

11.01.2022 It’s a double boy surprise with a dark rose grey male! Rafael was also found at 5pm when we noticed his mum didn’t come up for food. He weighed 7.72kg. We think he was born second as he wasn’t as active as Riku but he had worked out feeding before nightfall. He is our first cria out of our grey stud, Julius, and we got the colour we were after. Dam: Jackpot Lanakilah... Sire: Moon Shine Julius See more

10.01.2022 It’s the first baby of 2020, a bay black female! Ring O Roses was born at 11:15am Sunday weighing 6.44kg. She was up and feeding quickly. She is our first cria out of our stud male, UP and a very interesting colour with a little white ring around her nose. Dam: Aviana Farms Jamilah... Sire: Serialars Ultimate Phenomenon See more
