24.01.2022 Thank You to Tony and his awesome team at Me2U in Tolga for again supporting Jack by stocking and acting as a Pickup point for Jacks Reindeers and Signs this year. Your ongoing support is amazing and we can't thank you enough!!! If your ever in Tolga Tony's Pizza's and other menu items are awesome, don't drive past this great locally run business and please thank them for helping out Jack.

23.01.2022 This weekend we will see the Local Council Elections. I am not a political person and usually take a bipartisan approach. But this time Jack and his family need to throw our support behind Rod Marti for Mayor of Tableland Region. Without Rods understanding and ability to see our vision for Jack, this page would not exist. The purchase of this unique little school property required some thinking outside of the square as it is unique in many ways. Rod has always been very ap...proachable and was flexible enough to accept our approach to make things happen. I can on one hand the times I have seen Rod and his family and they always are interested in our story. I know if Rod takes the same approach as Mayor we will all be better off. 14.01.2022 ORDERS UPDATE : Hi everyone, Jack and his team of helpers are working hard to fulfil all current Reindeer orders, we are working hard to ensure that orders are fulfilled within a 2-3 week timeline from your order date. We have had some people concerned at the amount of time Jack is taking to get their orders to them. PLEASE know that we operated on a queue system for orders if you would like to know your place in that queue your welcome to send a pleasant enquiry message via... this page, but I want to assure you we are working hard to get orders out in a timely manner. I just wanted to remind everyone that this business is Jacks business, Jack has a role and hand in all parts of the business including all parts of constructing the Reindeers and now the signs, he sands, paints, glues and is even learning to cut the wood to shape and size with power tools, because of this we work at his pace and within the safety parameters he requires as he requires support to use power tools safely. Jack has gained so many skills in the past 2 years and continues to gain more and more skills but he requires us to work slower and more safely than post your men his age do. He has a great support team; Kathy who works fulltime at this time of the has a very efficient system in place and supports Jack to keep moving forward at a steady pace. We know people are excited to receive Jacks Reindeers and Signs, Please try and be patient if you're waiting for an order. Jack, Kathy and his team of helpers will work until all the orders are filled and are currently working 6 days a week to do that. To ensure we will get all orders to their new homes before Christmas we will not take any more orders after the 1st of December. 13.01.2022 Jack's Hardwood would like to offer Free Delivery for bagged wood and His awesome Easter Bunnies if you live on the Tablelands to anyone over 65, on a Disability Pension or self-isolating due to medical issues or disabilities during the continuing Corona Virus crisis. Minimum of 2 bags per delivery. To ensure that everyone stays as safe as possible during this time, we ask that if you have the ability to, that your direct deposit payment for wood deliveries into Jack's accou...nt. Otherwise, when we make deliveries we will make arrangements to exchange money in a way that is safest for both Jack, she staff and you his beloved customers. As you can imagine at this time it's very difficult for Jack to understand why he can't shake hands and interact with people how he previously has, Jack having Down Syndrome also has a greater risk in regards to this Virus due to smaller airways and he's previously repaired Heart condition. We are trying to keep him busy but as safe as possible(along with his staff all of which have young families) but also serve our community as we see the weather get colder and colder. We do not want anyone who needs wood not able to get it due to the gradual shut down of our communities as the cases of the virus increases. So PLEASE reach out. Wood prices have remained the same this Winter. $8.00 per bag. The fun Awesome easter bunnies are $30 without a Garden light. $35 with a Garden light. Wood is still available at this point from the Front Gate of our Tumoulin property, if you would like to arrange Direct Deposit of any purchases and pick up from our property we can also arrange this so please contact us. We like many families are still coming to grips with our new and unfolding world, we send all our love and care to you all as we try to keep things as Normal as possible here on the farm.

12.01.2022 Bunny Update: All Bunnies ordered and Paid for Friday and over the weekend are being posted today. Tracking numbers will be pm'd to you tonight. We are happy to let you all know that Jack and his Amazing worker Kathy, have worked hard this morning and have cut/shaped/sanded and will have another 10 Easter Bunnies ready for shipment on Wednesday. ... If you would like one of these Bunnies for Easter please comment below and we will PM you with payment and postage details. 09.01.2022 Portable Saddle Racks for Sale $100 Jack is in a family of siblings who loves horse riding. Jack and Kathy have came up with an idea to build a saddle rack for his little sister Bella to be able to carry her own saddle to horse events. Jack is wondering if this might be something that others would like too?... The saddle racks, stained and sealed are $100, and personalised decals (as shown) can be added for an extra $10.00.(both ends) There are two designs available to choose from, one is made for a western saddle with fenders and the other is made for an English style saddle. Jack and Kathy are happy to accomodate reasonable customisation at additional negotiated cost. Bridle hooks for the sides, and Grooming/brush carriers can also be made to sit in the bottom of the rack. Feel free to message us for further details.

If you are located closer to Atherton, we have a drop-off point at Me2U cafe (the Peanut Place) in Tolga. We are happy to leave your Reindeer here as Tony will look after you. 06.01.2022 A big thankyou to Peters ATV and Outdoor Cairns for allowing one happy Jackman to pay off his car!!! As you are aware, people with Downs Syndrome will never be able to hold a license. One of Jack's goals was to own a car. This little Polaris 150 is the next best thing. We would also like thank the businesses that stock Jack's wood and the public who have purchased his woodcraft. Without your support this goal would have not been achieved. Importantly, a big thankyou t...o his super support worker Kathy who has the task of driving Jack's motivation to achieve this. We cherish everything you do for him. The next step is for our little business Jack's Place to become a reality. Hopefully in the near future we will be set up for Jack to have some friends come and join him in his little venture.
