25.01.2022 Procrastination leads to some interesting photo's. After spending hours typing an essay last night, I decided this morning to take a break, stand outside for hours waiting for the perfect moment. 150 photo's later, this was by far one of my favourites. The bird looks huge here, but it's not larger than an adult hand.

24.01.2022 Here's a little sneak preview to my assignment in Digital Imaging. The outline is to create images from homonyms; I picked Hear/Here and Flower/Flour. I guess now it makes a little more sense :)

23.01.2022 Went out for a drive today in an attempt to get some photography assignment's done, however the perfect weather and a horse with her young was too much of an opportunity to pass up without stopping by and getting a shot :)

21.01.2022 You know it's Spring when...

20.01.2022 As I was driving in to town today, I noticed this old machine which I've always wanted to photograph. This is only a panorama from my phone but it gives you an idea of the perfect scene that caught my eye!

20.01.2022 Nothing better than a country Sunset!

18.01.2022 After seeing an Fstoppers article on artist Sebastian Bieniek and his photoseries "Doublefaced," I decided to use this article as inspiration for my final photography assignments of this year. Here's a small preview of what the final results are like. It was a great amount of fun shooting; now all is left is to develop the film prints, and edit the digital ones! Model: Danni Evans.

17.01.2022 Star Trails! Star trails everywhere.

17.01.2022 Experimenting with car headlights! :) Model: Emily Fitzpatrick

16.01.2022 Just spent the last couple of hours setting up and shooting this! For those who don't know, it's essentially a long-exposure of Steel Wool burning, the sparks flying off from it once it's been spun around, and makes for this amazing effect. This is all just an experiment, and an opportunity to get peoples feedback and opinions, but if I am happy with the other shots that were taken, one of these will end up as my Assignment for Uni! For any photographer out there who want's to have some fun and experiment, I highly recommend this! [Just don't do it near any flammable objects]

14.01.2022 For the first time last night I gave Astrophotography a serious go, it's amazing what you can see when you look for it!

14.01.2022 Going back to the basics of Photography; my first Analogue/Film assignment is complete! Film is definitely an experience, and the complete opposite to Digital photography nowadays; for starters, you get 24/36 chances at getting one perfect shot, not only that, but it takes almost all day just to find out whether or not you succeeded. Here's a preview of one of my final images for the assignment. There's always room for improvement, but for a first attempt, I'm really quite happy with the result!

13.01.2022 Tree's and Starry Nights.

08.01.2022 Had a lovely weekend spending time with my family. It was great to see them :) This is the first "Real portrait" I've taken with my 24-105 lens, and I'm really happy with the results! Definitely something I will be using for years and years to come :)

07.01.2022 And the final result from my DSLR!

06.01.2022 Continuing on with the theme :) Model: Jacquelyn Bryant

05.01.2022 After a long while of not posting on here, it was time to kick off 2014 with a recent photoshoot celebrating 100 Days since birth of baby Nathan :)

05.01.2022 It's crazy how far technology has come. I took this on my phone just a few minutes back in a matter of seconds! Hello Canola Fields!

05.01.2022 Studio shots! Model: Emily Fitzpatrick

05.01.2022 Had my first bit of fun photographing [Since The Fifty Project] around Uni on Monday for classwork. This was one of the strange plants growing, it seemed great to shoot because the look of it was an excellent imitation of the freezing weather in the morning!

03.01.2022 After hours of Illustrator CC crashing on my computer whenever I tried to save it, I finally had some luck and successfully saved my work. This is only one of three of my "Faces by Type" assignment for Graphic Design. It wasn't a great deal of fun having to start over and over, but I am happy to put that aside as I'm pleased with the end result :)
