25.01.2022 ‘ One man’s trash is another man’s treasure ‘ We had a client turn up at our place the other day, quite excited that he had this pile of old unwanted rope. He presided to ask if I’d like it ..hmmm ... ‘Sure.’ I replied. Reality is, I have stacks of rope lying around, buttttt As if I am going to turn down a pile of rope !!! So, I’m looking at this rope contemplating what to do with it. Welllll, of course I’m going to make a mat out of it !!!! Later in the week I’ll be seeing this same client who handed me his ‘trash’.... someone’s going to be surprised !!! You think !!! The most prized and rare colour is red or cranberry hue. These were expensive to make because gold was used to produce the colour. Other brilliant tones such as emerald green, cobalt blue, purple, yellow and orange were primarily made in the 1920’s and 30’s. ...
