23.01.2022 Samad Durrani (@ samad_durrani88) "Some one plz stop my tears. Some one plz kill my pain. Some one plz hold me tight. Some one plz make me smile."... Its no secret that our constant reliance on social media has desensitized us to much of what we see and hear online. Two Melbourne-based creators (Jess Lilley, a Melbourne-based creative director in partnership with Lara Chan-Baker, a producer and agent from the The Jacky Winter Group) set out to change that in the wake of the atrocities on Manus Island, using contemporary art to encapsulate the mens cry for freedom. The project culminated in the creation of the Freedom Calendar, which hit stores late last year and has raised over $8,000 for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC). Presenting the profound and often poetic tweets from some of the men on Manus Island, the Freedom Calendar is a reminder of our capacity for compassion, our willingness to listen, and our ability to love. Its at this intimate level that major, positive social movements take root. Illustration by Allison Colpoys. Created in response to Samad Durranis tweet.

This time, designed by Jess Cruickshank, embossed in rose-gold metal and featuring a hidden element thats been captured to perfection by our pals at Foliolio.

03.01.2022 If our animation branch Flutter were a fictional, Wonka-esque factory for the moving image, the opening and closing scenes of our 2018 animation reel are a flawless portrayal of what that would look like. 3D rendered from an original claymation piece by Andi Meier, Flutter brought to life a perfect depiction of the Flutter process: whereby any client can animate any of the 100+ artists we represent at Jacky Winter! And if this little snapshot just wasnt enough, head to flutter.jackywinter.com to find the full portfolio of our animated works!
