25.01.2022 Balanced Equine minerals are a great way to improved the quality of your horses hooves.

24.01.2022 "The certificate course was designed and developed to look not only at the horse's hoof, but the big picture, including the horse's diet, environment, movement,... owner expectations and the role of the hoof care provider. Most importantly, it teaches students that the horse is the critic of your work. It doesn't matter how much the student knows or how long they have been trimming - the measure of success is how much the horse likes the trim and how much the client likes the service." Enquire today for our Certificate Course in Equine Hoof Care. Spots are filling up fast for our September 2020 intake! www.australianhooftrimmers.com

18.01.2022 Who would like to win a pair of boots??

17.01.2022 It’s a great season for laminitis........,

16.01.2022 Regular hoof care can certainly help cracks but what is going on behind will be the reason that you can’t fix them always. I met Paige Poss in America and she does amazing dissections and takes lots of photos to allow us to see what is going on inside the hoof.

16.01.2022 Changes like this are possible.

16.01.2022 On this Saturday 25th July

13.01.2022 "During the 12 months following the practical block students need to complete a set number of case studies and written assignments at their own pace. Written as...signments are designed to be easily achievable. The main part of the assignments are the case studies. Students will present a progressive photographic journal on a minimum of five case study horses. Each case study includes client testimonials, progressive photographic records of horse hooves, notes on each photo set etc. Students to complete case studies for the duration of complete new hoof capsule growth on each horse (8-12 months). The case studies are a comprehensive learning process for students to understand the consequences of trims and advice both for the horse and owner expectations, the effects of environment and changes in seasonal diets on the hooves and the final results over a full hoof capsule growth. Of course, the ACEHP team are there to support you throughout this process via phone and email. We also have an interactive and supportive Facebook group for all ACEHP practitioners and trainees." www.australianhooftrimmers.com Jacky Ynema Equine Hoof Care

08.01.2022 Huge weekend for an enthusiastic group of horse owners.

08.01.2022 Not many donkeys in the south west have feet like this.

06.01.2022 It's hot out there! Our practitioners are out there in all sorts of weather conditions, and summer can provide some extra challenges. There are some things clients can do to help, but we don't recommend anyone works in extreme heat. Stay safe everyone!

06.01.2022 This might be one day I’m not sad to miss.

05.01.2022 This explains it..............

04.01.2022 Our next Clinic is soon. Still a couple of places available.

03.01.2022 Have seen three acute cases in the last few days. The spring sunshine certainly causes sugars to rise in the grass so be aware and be prepared to remove your equines from the grass before it is too late. I still have some low sugar hay available if you can't find any.

02.01.2022 Still a couple of Places left for our Workshop this coming weekend.

02.01.2022 Well that is a start........

02.01.2022 Coming to Perth WA on Saturday 10th April 2021 and have a couple of spots available if you would like me to measure your horse for boots.

01.01.2022 Yes you can jump in hoof Boots.
