25.01.2022 I get a lot of questions from clients and people I deal with on a daily basis around where they should or should not invest. Having worked across many different areas of investments from shares, to property and having dabbled in different investments myself my advice differs from person to person. However, one piece of advice always stays the same...invest in yourself FIRST. Investing in your own knowledge and experiences are the greatest investments you can make. Whether tha...t is education, travel, personal development, pretty much anything that makes you a more valuable part of the world today than you were yesterday. 24.01.2022 Scuba day today! Diving was awesome + a little bit nerve racking. 21.01.2022 I've been busy this week at Routine Inspections for the properties I manage. At every property I go to I leave behind one of our 2021 magnetic calendars and notepads. This is a tradition Dad started many years and for the business and it's one that's stuck. It's something useful, practical and shares our brand in a subtle way. We will quite often go to properties and see our calendars and notepads on bar fridges, in sheds, and in kitchens with shopping lists, to do lists and ...meal plans. A jam-packed tour from London to Amsterdam to Venice to Paris and everywhere in between. I've done my best to squeeze some of the best bits into an 8-minute vlog. 01.01.2022 This week marks 3 years since I first launched the "Jacob Carlile" brand. To think back to where I was and who I was back in July 2017 seems like a lifetime ago. It's been a pretty wild ride, from dodgy edited videos and vlogs, to writing articles on LinkedIn and sharing my thoughts on life and business to writing my own book, helping businesses and leaders grow, and now running my own business. People hate the J word but heck I'm going to say it...it's been a journey! A jour...ney that I wouldn't want to change for anything. The people I've met, the experiences I've had and the lives I've helped impact is pretty epic. Whilst the last few months I have been a little less active as I've stepped into business ownership and actively leading my team day-to-day, I can't wait to get back into producing content again really soon and working on some really exciting projects.
