I have been flat out... but I bought myself some new toys so this should get me out and about a little more! Love this little combination of a @jobyinc GorillaPod, @quadlockcase iPhone case and tripod adapter, and the new @apple iPhone 11 Pro. 24.01.2022 Welcome to the weekend Last weekend I treated myself to a little adventure out west to watch some motorbikes race at Morgan Park Raceway in Warwick. I decided to take a scenic way out through Brisbane to pick up some new lenses for my new camera (@sonyalpha_au #a7iii) and stop for the night in the Main Range National Park on the way out to watch the sunrise over the valley, and to get some nice shots on the new camera. And boy, Governors Chair at Spicers Gap delivered. It ...is an amazing spot where you are on the edge of a cliff overlooking the Scenic Rim, Lake Moogerah and various mountain peaks. It was also amazing to see how green it was and how much the forest had regenerated after the bushfires only a few months before this. This shot was taken at about 5:20am, about 15 minutes before the sun rose over the mountains. The light show it out on was incredible Nature is something else, and one of my goals this year is to do more short close to home trips like this. 19.01.2022 Time to Restart __________________________________ Kirra, Queensland ... __________________________________ : Sony A7III __________________________________ Been a touch quiet on here lately. Been flat out at work, and working on some other little projects (keep an eye out, some things coming! ). Then unfortunately my Nikon D610 died on me, so I was at at a standpoint. Fix an old outdated camera for the value of said camera or more, or look for something new. I decided to take a little gamble. I have decided to move over to @sonyalpha A7 Mark III! And from it’s first outing this afternoon, I am in love!

09.01.2022 Ventured out (across the road) the other night to try and see the Lyrid Meteor shower. No meteors, but I was able to test out some of the amazing low light capabilities of my Sony A7III and my Samyang 14mm 2.8 lens. So, overall I think it was a success
