25.01.2022 Dolphin spotting on the Educat with Dolphin Research Australia and citizen scientists from the local community
25.01.2022 A lucky little gull spotted by our caring homeschooler students struggling to stand with its legs bound in plastic It could still fly so we called Wild Bird Rescues and Rowley caught the gull and cut it free. The gull was released uninjured but any longer and it would have lost a leg. Fantastic team effort Please SHARE and spread the word:- Dispose of fishing line responsibly. ... Pick up discarded fishing gear or string. Wrap up and bin so birds are not entangled at landfill. Don’t leave fishing gear unattended. If you accidentally hook a bird, NEVER CUT THE LINE. If safe to do so, put a towel or bucket over the bird. Call Wild Bird Rescue in your area
