09.01.2022 So did you guess correctly Jacobs Well Tourist Park has undertaken a project to go fully electric!! The first phase of this project is renewing all our petrol outdoor equipment with shiny new electric gear. Thanks to the champions at AEG Powertools (shout out to Dallas & Jason), we can now keep the grounds in tip top shape without spilling a drop of two stroke (or any dinosaur juice for that matter).... Combine this with our small scale off grid solar panels for charging both the power tools and the electric cleaners buggy, we are heading towards zero carbon park operations. The best bit of all is just how good the electric equipment is now. As our onsite manager Ray proclaimed after his first use of the new mower: "OMG I will never buy a petrol mower again, wow" Next step is the ride on mower, we are testing some different models and hope to add this to the fleet soon.....and then comes the electric car Stay tuned as we embrace an all electric future!! #AEGPowertools #jacobswelltouristpark #wearegoldcoast #goldcoast #travel #discovernortherngoldcoast
