18.01.2022 Only a third of my couples say they find time to spend together - despite a busy schedule. This leaves 70% of couples stating they have trouble finding time in one way or another to spend together... Uh oh. What about you? Is finding quality time an issue in your relationship? ... And if it is, how do we find time? Let's take two approaches. Big and small. First small. "What's one simple small change I (or each of us) can make that will give us back quality time each day or week?" Do the maths, even 15 minutes each day adds up to almost 2 hours of new connection time per week. Could this be all it takes to restore balance? Ok, next up the big change. Ask... "What's one big shift I can make to get more quality time with my partner?" Be bold think big. Think outside the square. Perhaps it's working from home an extra day a week. Maybe it's taking a weekend away each month. What about stepping back from boards, committee's, and sports groups? Perhaps your line of thinking is around being together more on a shared cause or purpose? It's up to you. Look to your values and evaluate your life balance. Make the changes you need to say "Yes, we find time to spend together!"
