Ive tried everything from Cover Girl to Armani Luminous Silk foundation. Inevitably it looks great in the store but when I get home the color is wrong, the texture is cakey, chalky or greasy. After 50 years Im thrilled to find a foundation that actually LOOKS LIKE MY SKIN but BETTER. Absolutely take advantage of the sample ...pots (at $1/color, its well worth the investment to find the right match). I ordered 6 pots, across the range of light/medium and was really surprised to find that my skin has a yellow undertone. (Seriously, not one person at any of the myriad makeup countersIve visited through the years has EVER given me a yellow based foundation...) Being able to test multiple colors (several of which looked pretty good but not the BEST match), in my own bathroom and natural lighting, was a game changer. The pots give you a generous amount to try (it was enough that once I found my match, there was enough to use the pots until my regular size product order arrived.) The foundation is lightweight, super long wearing and highly pigmented. A tiny bit really goes a very long way. I use a primer and finish with a setting spray and find it does not settle in fine lines or slide off after 8 hours at the office.
