17.01.2022 My clients are Real Women with Real Skin and of EVERY age range which I adore - It’s so important to be able to apply makeup correctly and with different techniques from Teens and 20’s through to women in their 40’s,50’s,60’s plus. - There are a few little tweaks and changes that are made for each of these age groups to ensure makeup lasts and makes my clients feel the best they can feel.... - How stunning is this lady the lovely Jackie came to the studio yesterday with her two daughters to update their actors portfolios with headshots. - Listed below are a few pointers for Makeup Application for women in the 45+ age range : * Less is More. * Keep skin Young & Fresh looking by limiting powders and matte products. * Use a dewy & moisturising foundation. * Use cream blushes to add luminosity. * Keep eyes bright & open by limiting dark eyeshadows. * Don’t line the eyes to heavily on the bottom or top lash line ( I used very little on Jackie’s upper lash line and none on the lower lash line ). * Add some little individual lashes to the eyes to open and accentuate if you have a night out or an event to attend. * Steer clear of shimmers & glitters around any fine lines. * Adding a pop of colour to the lip rather than a standard ‘smoky eye’ tends to be my tendency with this age group to add a bit of glamour to a look. - Happy Sunday folks & heres to a great week ahead Xx - - #maturemakeup #brisbaneheadshots #headshotsbrisbane #brisbaneactorheadshots #brisbaneactor #brisbaneblogger #brisbanemums See more
