21.01.2022 A little word out for people wanting to adopt an animal ... if you see a comment from a foster carer saying ‘I can’t believe this animal has not been adopted’ is usually a good bet that it’s a great choice. It was these words from a foster carer on Geelong Animal Welfare page that I saw under Lady Penelope’s profile that flagged me that she was a great cat. As a foster carer myself I know I always post something like that when I have a great animal for adoption - yes obviously the animal needs to fit the home but it’s a good indication of a great catch and temperament. Yes they may not be the prettiest, they may have three legs, they may be older but trust me they can be absolute gems waiting to be adopted. Love my girl to pieces and I thank goodness every day this ex mumma cat is in my life.

14.01.2022 Storm Blend - this is my April which I just had to dose as we have a storm overhead... This blend can be useful during thunderstorms and firework displays. It is also useful for animals that fear loud noises or sudden movements. Dosage is 7 drops every 15 minutes until calm. If you are aware that a storm or a firework show is about to begin then it is better to dose before in increments as it can be tricky to dose an animal who is already highly distressed and has been for ...some time.
