20.01.2022 Hit the big time today with another front cover of the #stockjournal. Thanks for being an absolute legend Jenna! #chicksrule #ladyboss #ducksonthepond #shearing @australianwoolinnovation @richie.kirkland #australianwool #merinowool @sbjluc @canonaustralia

19.01.2022 The leaves are beginning to turn already, as we head into the last days of summer. There’s always a short window of opportunity to make the most of the leaves when they’re in their full autumn colour as an exquisite back drop for a portrait shoot. This is one of my all time favourites - Olivia amongst the autumn leaves - makes me think a little of the timeless style of the old masters.

17.01.2022 Another shot of the majestic Reego from a recent #spiritofequus session. Who doesn't love this classic formal style portrait against a black backdrop, his whiteness contrasting beautifully and showing off his traditional Baroque Lipizzaner characteristics.

14.01.2022 Meet Reego. Reego is the most stunning Lipizzaner with absolutely impeccable breeding and displays the classic Baroque traits of this ancient breed, his bloodlines linking directly to the Spanish Riding School Lipizzaners in Vienna, Austria. Also known as "Pegasus without wings" the Lipizzaner was originally bred as a war horse, but are now famous for their haute ecole - 'Airs Above the Ground' and excel at high school dressage - an absolutely enthralling performance, which ...I've actually seen first hand. I had the privilege of photographing the aptly named and very regal, Reego, in early December, in a "Spirit of Equus" Photo session on the family farm. Then, in a top secret covert collaboration with the rest of the family, we conspired to surprise their gorgeous wife and mum on Christmas morning with an unexpected and unique artwork waiting for her, under the Christmas tree. Mission accomplished. I'll have some more images of this session to come in the next few weeks. #spiritofequus #photosession

13.01.2022 We hit the front page of the 'Tiser this morning! Thanks to Kristi from Robe Town Brewery for being such a great sport to work with on Saturday morning - she didn't even mind it when the incoming tide threw a couple of biggish waves our way and she got (just a little bit) wet!

09.01.2022 I've been dreaming about doing a shoot like this for some time and when a couple of the Naracoorte Light Horse Troop members stayed over in Robe recently for their ANZAC Day trial run, I seized the opportunity. The boys were only too happy to dress in their full regalia, to re-enact the WWI Light Horse charge at Beersheba - a full gallop charge with bayonets drawn - across the skyline with a magnificent sunset as the backdrop. We had a great time, kicking up a bit of dust and... creating a bit of magic. The Naracoorte Light Horse Troop will be in Robe over the ANZAC 2021 weekend, with guest appearances at the commemorative football game on the 24th and the Dawn Service at the Robe Cenotaph on ANZAC Day. These images will be available for purchase and, as the NLH are self funded, I will donate the proceeds of the prints back to the troop. Please message me for details. #australianlighthorse #anzacday #warhorse #jacquibphotography #lighthorse #equinephotography #R2R #robetorecovery #lestweforget #canon Bespoke images, printed to order in my studio on 190gsm archival matte paper start at $30. Custom framed prints are also available on request.

09.01.2022 When the dust had settled after our action packed Light Horse shoot, I wanted to photograph the troopers in a more reflective mood. There wasn't a breath of wind as the sun sunk below the horizon and the colours of the brilliant sunset mellowed into more pastel tones for the second part of the shoot. It was a perfect end to a perfect day. I've had such an extraordinary response to these images, I'd like to do a special ANZAC giveaway, of a matted 11x8in (A4) print of choice ...from the series. I'd love to hear what ANZAC Day means to you in the comment section. I will be picking the winner on Sunday 18/4/2021 In my opinion, the Dawn Service is the most poignant and moving part of the day and I wouldn't miss it for the world. A time of reflection and gratitude for those who gave their all for the freedoms we have today. My recent Light Horse series was shot as a tribute not only to the Light Horsemen but also those magnificent Walers; those stoic farm and station-bred horses who went away to war but never came home. ANZAC Day is a day for our veterans and for those still serving today and for us to say "Thank you for your service". Lest We Forget. #australianlighthorse #anzacday #warhorse #jacquibphotography #lighthorse #equinephotography #R2R #robetorecovery #portraits #abcmyphoto #rmwilliamsoutbackmagazine #australians #awmemorial
