08.01.2022 Jadas journey!!! ..... Four months ago Jada tells me her 12mth old school chrome book isn’t working... Jadas chromebook was put in for repairs and the motherboard had been damaged and non reparable.... I decided to let Jada go without a chromebook and she had to borrow one daily from the library at school or do everything by hand at school.... Once I thought the lesson was learnt we bought Jada a new one... that chrome books screen was smashed within 8 weeks and the repairs would cost more than a new one. This was just at the end of the last online learning term. School holidays hit and Jadas been madly sewing Scrunchies since to save up enough money for a new chrome book (as MUM AND DAD SAID WE ARE NOT PAYING THIS TIME) and Jada knows she needs a chromebook to do her online schooling from home. Lesson The value of money Money’s not easy to come by To be responsible for my possessions Hopefully Jada learns a very valuable life lesson out of this! She’s saved half the money needed for a new chrome book so far we are very proud that she’s determined to earn the money. ~Jadas mum~
