20.01.2022 Anson-Wilfred Wasley is one of the most dedicated Lion Dance Performers in Cairns. An inspiring young man with great technique, great energy and always giving his best. Along with his brother Hamish and good freind Kevin they represent all the good things about the Chinese Lion and are terrific performers.... 16.01.2022 Meet our newest Chinese Fighting Lion. He is large , black and white with red eyes. He was recently awaken and blessed by Grand Master Tom Lo on a visit to Jade Kung Fu School. The Chinese Black Fighting Lion is representative of the Jade Kung Fu School and the fact that Jade Lion Dance School is an extension of The Jade Kung Fu School teaching both Lion and Kung Fu. The fighting Lion is, as it suggests, strong, fast, very skill full and feirce. He shows his strength and might, should he perform for people, and it is soon realized that his power is awesome when he starts to perform and it is hard to take your eyes off him..

13.01.2022 TRINITY AUTO GROUP Southside brings in the Chinese New year of the Monkey in style. Jade Lion Dance School had a big performance in the new Trinity Hyundai showroom today with all eyes on the amazing Lion Team Performers. Excitement, colour, drums, symbols and the namazing buddha. A spectacle to the young children with their families looking on in the new facility. ... TRINITY AUTO GROUP actively supports the Cairns Chinese and Multi Cultural community and looks to give back to the community with hosting such gala events and wishes the entire community a happy and prosperous new year, year of the monkey.

06.01.2022 Meet our Chinese Lion. He is lucky golden colours with white and red accents. He is very fast and quite agile and loves performing spectacular moves. He can be quite confrontational and loves a challenge. His colours really stand out under good lighting.

06.01.2022 Meet our Chinese Lion. He is different shades of green with white accents and heavily sequenced giving off a lot of presents in a room. He is a little older and very wise and cunning.He watches on a lot, while other make a lot of noise and fuss but still knows how to be playful when invited into the fun.

04.01.2022 Jade Lion Dance School usshers in the Chinese New Year with a two Lion Performance with the giant Chinese drum, 4 large symbols, large Gong and a happy Buddha. Lots of noise, lots of colour and the local shoppers really got behind it and it showed with many filming the performance and the children chasing the performance the entire length of the facility. Great job Jade Lion Dance School.... Happy and prosperous new year, year of the Monkey.
