24.01.2022 Im just doing some research for Dont Touch Me, and after reading an article on self-worth it got me thinking how we value the perception of ourselves. The article states that if you have healthy levels of self-worth, youre able to see yourself as a good person. I most definitely consider myself to be a good person. The article goes on to say that your value doesnt just revolve around what you can do for other people and showing up for them the way you think they want you... to show up. Self-worth means holding healthy boundaries with others. Expecting reciprocity in relationships, and knowing that you need to put yourself first. Yes, I get that. The rest of the article went from bad to worse. After reading it I felt completely drained, that I didnt have any self-worth, self-belief, self-love, self-respect, self-acceptance, self-compassion or anything else for that matter, which I know is total BS. But do you read something like that and start believing your lack? Do you really care what other people think about you? How important is it for you to be the person you expect others think you are? 22.01.2022 Am I your angel in disguise? I certainly hope so. When I wrote Fear of the Unknown I asked a Psychologist to read it and see what she thought. Well she loved it and wrote this foreword for me. Foreword for Fear of the Unknown As I was reading I found myself saying Yes! Yes! Yes! Jade (Vicki) truly understands the motivations and challenges of those neurally diverse young people, whom her characters represent. She has a very clever way of capturing the inner thoughts o...f these kids, as their fears surface in often unexpected ways, proving that, for some, even familiar settings can feel out of control. As a Psychologist who specialises in working with children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, I love using storytelling and visuals in my practice to help someone to understand their differences. The author has found such an interesting way to introduce each key challenge, through a magical remedy. She helps the reader appreciate each step to growth as highly complex, and impossible to resolve without understanding, love and compassion and some divine intervention. Guidance and support is abundant in this treasure trove. Tools of self talk (potions and chants), self-reflection (carefully choosing crystals and spells) and reviewing the lessons of the day (through journal writing), are demonstrated. And of course, there is recognition for those all-important support people who have the power to teach how to push through initial barriers. We learn so much from one young fairy about positive mindset, problem solving and persistence. I have lived the experience of having a very sick son, and I know the power in feeling as if there is something you can do when all the doctors around you are saying theres nothing more to be done. There is a lot of potency in remedies that heal the mind, heart and soul. Two key messages of hope shine through this story. For these kids: success happens when the need is greater than the fear, and change happens when there is true purpose But, need and purpose are so often about helping others, not themselves. Touching and insightful, a beautiful read for kids, teens, families, and educators alike. 21.01.2022 In Fear of the Unknown Suzy and her fairy classmates learn about the Root Chakra. In Dont Touch Me they learn about the Sacral Chakra. I just realised if I only focus on one chakra per book, I will have to write another five books, and as each books problem is associated with that chakra I will need to brainstorm what childhood issue will be portrayed and balanced as a result. WOW, best I get a move on ah!

20.01.2022 Hummingbird Significance. Ok, so some of you have asked about the significance of the hummingbird in my latest branding of Jade Green Author. The hummingbird symbolism is related to love, joy, happiness, truth and balance in life. It appears out of nowhere and spreads happiness and joy into the lives of those it passes. The infinity sign that the motion of the wings symbolises how we should let go of our past experiences, consider the present, and the future that is awaiting.... The ability of the hummingbird to fly backward signals us to look back into the past to learn from it, but not get stuck in it. But thats not all, the main reason I chose the hummingbird is for the spiritual meaning. Quite simply, angels choose hummingbirds to deliver their messages to us. Thus, hummingbirds act as a mode of communication between us and the angels. For the writing that Jade Green does and will do in the future, there is a significant amount of communication between the realms, which is why I combined the hummingbird with the colour of the crystal Chrysocolla for my branding. 14.01.2022 I know you have heard the term Law of Attraction, many people have written about it, the likes of Oprah advocate it. I certainly believe in it, I have practiced many principles of the Law of Attraction over the years with outstanding results, I talk about it in my book Trust the Universe. But how does it work? The Law of Attraction uses the power of the mind to translate whatever is in your thoughts and materialise them into reality, whether you want them or not. I was alway...s taught to be careful what you focus on, because thats what you will get in return. So, be warned, if you focus on doom, gloom or lack, then thats what you will get back. My interpretation of how the Law of Attraction works, is that no matter what you want to have, achieve, or be in life, if you can hold an idea and see it for yourself in your minds eye, you can make it yours to have. But. Yes, you guessed it, there is more to it than that. For results you do need to put in the hard yards and put action behind the plan. You could add other elements to implement your vision like affirmations, creating a vision board, and reading how other experts used visualisation to get outstanding Law of Attraction results. I am proof that it does work. Did it come easy? No, not in the beginning, because I didnt fully believe it possible, but once I started seeing the opportunities present themselves I was amazed at how quickly the Universe worked in achieving my goals. 12.01.2022 I meet so many people who are on their spiritual path, have been lost or vow they have never had one. What I have learned is that we are all born with spirit around us. For me in particular (and I believe my story is very similar to most) my family didn't understand the spirit world (until I introduced it to them later in life, then it all made sense to them). With a lot of other people society knocks it out of them at a young age. I got to a stage in my life when 'things' started happening which I couldn't explain, I was scared but I liked how it made me feel so I embarked on a journey to find out more. I'm pleased to say this journey has led me to a wonderful place and I've met some amazing people. I am honoured to have chosen the spiritual path that is right for me.

07.01.2022 MUSIC, I want to share a secret. In Fear of the Unknown, suzy starts to write a song with her father, but unfortunately her father passed away and she doesnt get to finish it. UNTIL Dont Touch ME when working with her human child Chole, together Suzy and Chole work more on the song and although I havent finished writing the song yet, I think it will be completed in Dont Touch Me. Ive been listening a lot to Jessica Mauboy lately and I can hear her soulful voice sing it. Right now, in this moment I declare to the Universe that sometime, someday, somehow Jessica Mauboy may just sing this song so that the rest of the Universe can share in the spiritual and profound message of it, and so it is.
07.01.2022 Suzy was the first character to be created, she came to me as an image I found on the internet. I then moulded her into the fairy that had so many problems I knew would take a few books before I could balance her into someone who could stand tall in their own power. I knew how hard this would be because I lived it. I knew who I was born to be but fought tooth and nail to be that person because this person was not normal by human standards. She was spiritual, caring, born to serve, shy and and introvert and she has a message to deliver. The great thing is she will become exactly who is is born to be, just might take a couple of books to get her there. What about you? Are you living your unique you? 06.01.2022 As you know Austin MacAuley is creating my manuscript Fear of the Unknown into a magical masterpiece. I have 100% faith that they will bring my vision to fruition. I am so privileged that I was able to bring a book with so many layers of learning to you. This piece of fiction is a one of its kind. It borders on fiction by way of coming from a realm of fantasy, magic and belief as it incorporates layers of learning by way of Crystals, Chakras, ArchAngels, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Herbs and all other natural methodologies that work in aiding Anxiety. 06.01.2022 What you seek is seeking you. These wise words are so poignant that I used them in Fear of the Unknown. Suzys grandfather says that to her that as she is coming to terms with her assignment. Unfortunately Suzy has no idea what he means by it. But as a reader I trust that you totally get why I wrote it that way.
05.01.2022 A couple of things I teach my students in preparation to getting published is: 1) Feedback - ALL Feedback is Good Feedback. Feedback, good, bad or indifferent is how we progress, get better and move forward. 2) Rejection - All authors will get rejection at some point, usually when you try to get an agent/ publisher interested in your manuscript. How do you bounce back from rejection??? Take a good look at JK Rowling, or any famous author, they have all experienced rejection, ...but they persisted and look at them now. I am so grateful I received feedback from the two publishers that rejected Fear of the Unknown, it was quite insightful in relation to my writing, not manuscript. Someone once asked how long it takes to write a book? Well the writing of the book is the easy part, because that is the only thing you have control of. Once it goes out for editing, and publishing, you just have to be patient and allow the Universe to do the next stages in Divine time.

I have always wanted to know who my spirit guides were and In 2016 the Mind, Body n Spirit Expo was being run in Melbourne at a time both Rodney and I were back in town (from our 2 year tour of Manila). This is Shiona, who painted my spirit guide Little Owl. This image sits in front of my computer, I look at it all day everyday and has filled me with many many wise moments of expression, and for that I am eternally grateful. 04.01.2022 Significance of the colour Chrysocolla in the latest branding of Jade Green Author. Ive mentioned before why this crystal is important to me as an author, I used the colour for the branding of Vicki Williams Author and have decided to use it again here with my pen name Jade Green. The Book of Stones by Robert Simmons & Naisha Ahsian tells us that Chrysocolla is a cardinal Water element stone, governing the flow of energy and communication. It is powerful for opening and c...leansing the throat Chakra, allowing one to channel the loving knowledge of the heart to others. It assists us in owning the power of words and in recognising how the words we use affect our reality. It facilitates the expression of our hearts deepest truth, as well our minds greatest knowledge. Chrysocolla is the teaching stone, in that it encourages one to speak ones highest knowledge so that others may benefit from our experiences. Teaching can take many forms, but true teaching is the act of speaking ones truth from the heart and sharing the knowledge one has gained through experience, especially for those who may not realize that their words of experience are filled with wisdom, which can help others. This stone encourages all of us to share our true selves, without artifice or masks, so our wisdom - not just our information - can be conveyed through our words and our energies. See more
03.01.2022 1st of the month and for me, as you well know is to smudge my office and home with White Sage. I do this to clear any negativity and to bring in new energy. For me, I feel it gives me a new lease of life and whenever I smudge my office, I get into flow easily. 03.01.2022 There is a whole lot of research that goes into each of my spells and potions. I need to make sure that (most) of the ingredients actually work for the problem I am trying to fix, even though I am going to throw some random named ingredients into the spell just to make it magical and to keep it fiction. In saying that the research gives me more ammunition for storylines and layers of learning. Like this pic, for example, how many of you knew the meaning behind the colours fo...r candles? Just to prove that I do actually use this information in my books. In a chapter of Dont Touch Me Suzy and the rest of her fairy classmates have a lesson in crystal ball reading and in case you didnt know it pays to place a candle behind the crystal ball to avoid shadowing. BUT, what colour is the candle I use..... well you will have to wait to find out. lol. See more
03.01.2022 Many writers dont get that a completed manuscript is a layered effect of rewriting. That there are stages of focusing on certain areas and rewriting them until they are 100% better, this process unfortunately takes time and patience. Done right will give you an outstanding outcome.
02.01.2022 Am I good enough to succeed as an author? Yes, I have asked myself that question many many times. What we must all remember is that we are all unique and we all have different messages. of course not everyone is going to resonate or connect to what you are writing, doing, or being, and thats ok.

01.01.2022 Ive mentioned already that Fear of the Unknown is full of many layers of learning for all of us, not just the target market of middle grade children. Anxiety is prevalent in everyday life for children and adult alike. If you know of someone suffering with anxiety, what do they use to aide their recovery? I can almost bet you that they arent using (most) or any of the remedies I talk about in Fear of the Unknown. I will bring these remedies to life in an educational, easy to understand approach. It will leave you thinking about other possibilities.
01.01.2022 In Dont Touch Me Suzy is asked a very important question, "In order to serve your human child to the best of your ability, who do you need to be and what do you need to do to make this happen?" Needless to say I had written this question pre-Covid-19. It got me thinking to how a lot of us are feeling right now, living a different Covid-19 life, one we clearly didnt agree to. Have you thought about who you have to become to continue living your new way of life? Albert Einstein is widely credited with saying, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results." How will making a conscious change in behaviour benefit you?
