22.01.2022 A beautiful pink & Rose Gold cake made a couple of weeks ago. Loved working with the edible glitter shards and 1st time working with modelling paste instead of fondant to create the beautiful rose and leaves! Creates a finer leaf & petal giving a more realistic look! You can find this style cake from many cake decorators...the names are endless! But this one was all made here at JSC!

21.01.2022 I made this cake last month for my husbands 40th while we were stuck at home like everyone else!! Somedays..isolation sux...especially on your 40th!! 19.01.2022 I had so much fun making this Lion King cake!! I love the movie old & new, so was super excited!! I also got to use my new printer with edible images for the 1st time - so that was also exciting!! Finished off with some airbrushing & hand painted silhouettes im happy with the finished product! Unfortunately i can fine the awesome cake decorator that this cake was inspired from to give credit too, but just know this was inspired another cake decorator out there! All in all i think this is super cute & fun for a special 1st birthday!

19.01.2022 Thought I'd try my first time lapse of decorating a drip cake!! Im going to try and do more of these!! If only it actually took this long to decorate - lol!.. ... I didnt think to film the layering, smoothing & levelling of the cake before decorating... but then just working out the best placement for the toppers seems enough this time round!! ... I hope by watching this you can appreciate & enjoy what goes into making your custom cakes... I love makinv them for you & take pride in my work.. ENJOY!!

17.01.2022 In between lockdowns, i was lucky enough to make these for a brother & sister that go to my sons school... A marbled yellow & blue cake topped with a personalised topper from Hayleys Creations. Beyblade inspired cupcakes for Mr Travis that consisted of my 6yr old son getting out ALL of his Beyblades & instructing me which ones are the best that I should make, along with some constructive criticism until he was happy that they infact look like beyblades & are satisfactory!!& then some Minecraft cupcakes for Miss Eva! I hope they enjoyed!!

16.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Apologies for being a bit quiet recently... how is everyone going with the new news of Stage 4 restrictions? Me personally, have struggled with it a bit. Please keep in mind that I (Jade's Sweet Creations) am still here, but for the moment not operating. I have not closed permanantly...only temporarily & if for any reason, its purely to keep my mental health in line!! Whilst im sooo lucky to still have my part time work with another company & being able to do th...is safely from my home 4 days a week, i would be lying if i said its been a walk in the park!! Working, home schooling 3 kids and trying to stay 'positive' for their sakes all at the same time has been a mission.... and ive failed at it on a number of occasions!! But everyday, i wake up and give it another crack!! But.... I wouldnt be focused enough or putting in 100% if I started taking orders regularly again..at the moment, and that is why I decided to take a break... I dont suffer from depression, and can only imagine how hard this time is for those that do... so please reach out to those people...even if you dont see eachother alot "normally"... it may just be what they need to get through another day. So just a quick post to pop in and say Hi! And see how my lovely followers are going! Im here via phone and message for chats or for inspo and help if you're planning on baking and decorating!! 15.01.2022 Ive just realised i never posted a pic of my last order before we had tighter restrictions. So here it is! A lovely drip cake with some matching cupcakes for a 30th birthday. This was a vanilla cake layered with vanilla buttercream. Topped with a mixture of meringue drops made here at JSC and some from @thecakestop. The Macarons were also from The Cake Stop.

12.01.2022 Last weeks cake! The client wanted a cake for her husband and mums birthday..it needed to somehow combine Top Gun, Jim Beam and Chocolates. This is what i came up with.. The Favourites, Jim Beam & whiskey in a glass are all cake...one banana mud and the other 2 Chocolate mud. The DVD's are both giant cookies. I forgot to get a pick of the Star Wars one..but you get the idea!

11.01.2022 How are my lovely customers & followers going? Its such a hard time for everyone at the moment with COVID-19 affecting so many walks of life around the world in different ways. As you may have noticed Jade's Sweet Creations has been a bit quiet on the home front.... For those that dont know, as well as a cake decorator, i also work part-time in admin for another company 4 days a week. I have been lucky enough so far to be one of the very few that has not had to face the hard ...reality of loosing a job (yet). However it has been a challenging week working outside home with 3 kids to care for as well! This week, i will start working from home doing my admin job...which im sure is going to bring a few challenges within itself whilst having 3 kids at home with me! All that aside, i am happy that im fortunate enough to have this flexibility at such an unsure time. I have no doubt, in time this to will come to an end. All this aside, JSC has stopped creating for the time being obviously until we are safe to do so. Until then, i will be randomly posting to check in and see how u all are! Feel free to pop me a message if you need advise on baking and or decorating whilst we are at home with not much else to do! I'll try post some tutorials while im here too! Take care of yourself and ur loved ones. We're a privileged generation, lucky enough to have the facilities we do. Even though we are social distancing & self isolating or even in quarantine, we have access to so many devices that allow us to not totally disconnect from those we love. With most of us having access to FaceTime, Skype, and even just phone & email...we can still check in. Remember o do this every now and then and see how family & friends are going. And remember to phone nan & pop to see how they are, they'll appreciate it more than you know! From my family to yours! Jade Xx

08.01.2022 Made up some Thankyou dessert boxes for a few teachers when my daughter returned to school. These teachers in particular were so helpful and supportive through the whole process of Home - schooling that i wanted to show my appreciation in some way. 2 being her school teachers & 1 being her singing teacher, whom offered free online lessons throughout the whole lockdown to help with her students mental health through a challenging time. I also made up a couple of You Made It b...oxes for a couple of very special friends that helped me through this time. To say it was challenging would be an understatement. These girlies were there to wipe my online tears of frustration, exhaustion & general mumminess!! I personally couldnt have made it through without them!! And i also wanted to give them & their partners something special to congratulate them for smashing homeschooling as well!! The boxes were made up of Vanilla cupcakes with Cream Cheese frosting, Iced Coconut Cookies, Meringue drops, Fluffy Marshmellow filled Meringues, Lemon Tart, Apricot Almond Tart, Choc Dippes Strawberries & a mini bottle of Brown Brothers Moscato!! 07.01.2022 Covid has bought alot of changes...one of them being the size of cakes i have been asked to make during these quiet, unfamiliar times.... I have taken a bit of time off during this 2nd round of lockdown...and im planning on slowly getting back into the swing of things, but for now... here are some cakes i made prior... all mini in size compared to what i would usually do, but still just as much appreciated and made with the same amount of love!! Thomas cake was topped with a small Thomas toy..

01.01.2022 The last of my orders for 2020.. the end of the year saw me making lots of little orders. I loved all the thoughtful gestures that these small packages were about. Lots of treat boxes with personslised messages.
