Few highlights are mentioned below: Government will provide Guarantee that will allow First Home Buyers to purchase a home with a deposit of 5%. This will help Home Buyers to save on the cost of Lenders Mortgage Insurance which is currently required if you are borrowing more than 80% of the property value. The scheme will support 10,000 First Home buyers each financial year First home buyers ...with an income of up to $125,000 (or $200,000 for a couple) will be eligible. The value of homes that can be purchased under the scheme will vary by region. The Scheme is expected to commence on 1 January 2020. See the Announcement below for more details.
