25.01.2022 As a mum I’m completely guilty of not getting in photos with my kiddies. Sometimes we’ll do an iPhone selfie with a terrible moustache or dog ear filter (thanks Snapchat) but it’s rare. I really don’t like having photos of me taken, like what do I do with my hands?!! But I want more with them. I need more with them. I think it’s important that they then have ones of me with them. This years must do is shout myself professional photos. I’m going to find myself a cute floaty dress, hire my favourite photographer and do this not just for me but for my kids. So with that said, what holds you back from getting family photos?

24.01.2022 Just a little over a month until I’m back shooting again which means a VERY busy next 12 months. If you’re looking at dates from August 2021, get in touch ASAP, there’s a few left but have no doubt they’ll disappear very quickly as restrictions lift

22.01.2022 A little tease of some of the scenery around Queenstown. Ive barely put my camera down this trip and will continue to be in awe of how diverse the colours are. One day its blues and greens and the next its browns and oranges. Truly spectacular and a must visit

19.01.2022 Capturing this family again really means the world to me. The eldest is growing the cutest sassy attitude while the youngest is happy to cling on to mum while finding his feet. Im truly so lucky.

17.01.2022 Good news, emails are back up and running so will be replying to you all ASAP x Also, let’s all take a moment to appreciate what happened on this engagement shoot late last year. It was taken on my aunties property and we didn’t see her horse for the entire time we were there. About 10 minutes before the sun dipped behind the hills, up she came for a few portraits and then joined us as we walked back to our cars. Truly amazing!

12.01.2022 I’ve never enjoyed pushing for you to pick me up document your love. It’s never felt right. This new norm we’re all facing is overwhelming and it’s leaving me feeling like I have no other choice but to say BOOK ME! I’m here, wine in hand, laptop open, urging each and every couple that are considering booking in their vendors for their 2021 weddings to NOT hesitate. My weekends are filing up with postponements quicker than I can say let’s lock it in and I’m dreading the day I have to say no to a new couple. It hurts my heart. I want to be there for each and every one of you! My deposit requirements have halved as a hey, times are tricky and I COMPLETELY understand gesture, so no time like the present. 08.01.2022 Kimmy and Beck said I do on Saturday. It was a day full of love and chemistry, commitment and compatibility, and I think my favourite part is that they have gone even further by choosing a new surname together. It’s a name that resembles a significant time and place for them, the start of their new norm, and I absolutely bloody love that they’ve chosen to do that as they start their life together. Here’s cheers to you girls, what.a.day

07.01.2022 I think one of my favourite parts of finishing my couples editing is the process of going through and picking the images that will get printed. That feeling of holding a photo in your hand sparks a special kind of emotion that is slowly coming back in the digital world. There’s something about the texture of the paper, or maybe its the excitement of being able to put it straight in to a frame, but I think more so it’s the ease of taking them to show your nearest and dearest without a laptop in site, that’s my favourite part of having prints
