13.01.2022 This is where it all began, 6 years ago today, the 9th of September, 2014, I sent this photo to a girlfriends and one of my sisters. . This was one of the first two pieces of jewellery I had ever put together. I gave one each to my girlfriend and my sister convinced. They loved them, and managed to convince me I could make these pendants and sell them. . Now I’m and Aries which means if I believe I can do it I jump in. And that’s what I did. Selling pretty pendants, and ...then eventually creating the original Custom Design pendants. . Business grew steadily for a couple of years....and then I was given an amazing fundraising opportunity that was bigger than I could imagine...or anticipated. This massive fundraising commitment, coupled with three very young children, and broken relationship, threw me against the wall (not in a fun way). I tucked @jafdesigns in a corner of my house and moved to only making custom pendants for people who contacted me directly. . The end of 2019 forced me to look at the @jafdesigns corner of my house when it came time to pack up for the house rebuild. That’s when I made the decision to rebuild @jafdesigns and here we are. . Never expected that arsehole 2020 to play havoc with the world but grateful for all that I have. See more

09.01.2022 Last week I decided to try something new, and I bought a small stack of Cernit from the amazing @blackbirdandviolet. . Well I AM STOKED. This product is outstanding, and that makes my product even better. The colours are stunning, the clay is the perfect consistency for intricate flowers like this. If you’re a maker......it is a little tougher to condition, but I think the results are worth it. . These were my first trial, and only made a couple of sets, but they are available to purchase online now.
