25.01.2022 A massive 3rd at Toowoomba last night for JT (Jumeirah triangle). Another great ride by Adam Spinks pulling all the right moves and Narrowly missing the fallen horse. Going to be interested once he get over further.

24.01.2022 It’s always a hard day to retire one of our favourites, Beau (A Little Crafty) touched many heart in his career. From jockey Adam Spinks, strapper and owner Pete Rickards and of cause myself and Nicole, He was My first metro winner, so he will always have a place in our heart. On a good note he will be getting super spoilt, going to a great home with young girl called Lou and her family. We will be looking forward to see this relationship grow.

23.01.2022 The mare (aberlady) that just keeps trying, she never disappoints us. Would love to have a stable full like her, every time she steps out get her all. Thanks for another perfect ride by Chris Meehan. We could never have got her to we’re she is without all involved. Looking forward to the future with this gutsy mare. 2nd today at Gatton only better a head.

23.01.2022 A gutsy 2nd at Toowoomba, from lee (indispensable) only beaten 0.2L. Congratulations to all connections.

22.01.2022 At the early hours of this morning, our mare quicky noted gave birth to a beautiful colt by Whittington. Very excited to see how this boy develops cause the mare is group placed in America and the Whittingtons are going really good. Both baby and mum are doing well. Couldn’t be prouder of what she has produced.

19.01.2022 Rocky (Whittington X Royal oak 19) feeling well today.

18.01.2022 Wow what a good girl, aberlady with a heart the size of a lion puts in a mighty run today at eagle farm finishing 3rd in a BM 90 2200m, only beaten 4.5L. She has won her way into our hearts with her courage to try. Thanks to everyone who has supported us and help to get her this far.

16.01.2022 It’s been a interesting 2020, horses going good, couple of nice foals born, losing some horse’s, myself and Nikki having to start new job just so we can keep the racehorses going and moving properties. Hope everyone have a great start into the 2021 happy new year

14.01.2022 I think molly (not tonight dear) enjoying her different type of training. It great to have so many different way of keeping the horses happy. But I also think James has a soft spot for her and enjoyed hanging out at the river just as much as she did. Plus a special mention to our main man henry, such a awesome lead pony.

14.01.2022 That time of the year again, foals are starting to turn in the belly ready for august. This is a America bred mare ‘quick notice’ in foal to Whittington. Due on the first of august. Looking forward to sleepless night to see these future champions

13.01.2022 A huge 3rd from our gentle giant JT (Jumeirah triangle) at Ipswich. Today being his second race start and massive improvement from running 10th on debut. He still has lots to learn but is heading in the right direction. A great ride from Adam Spinks, taking him wide and giving him lots of room so he could stretch out his long legs. A huge congratulations to owners Pete and Donna Rickard plus nikkis dad Tom Jackson. Looking forward to seeing how he goes with further distance. I am clearly gobsmacked on how much this boy has improved I was thinking he would definitely need much further to see his true potential.

12.01.2022 When breeding there is alway highs and lows, unfortunately we lost our mare Quick Noted to colic, leaving a beautiful 9 week old Whittington colt. So first thing we did was try to bottle feed him, being stubborn wouldn’t have a bar of it, so try a bucked, that was a hard no again. So we had to think outside the box and put him with our old mare Royal Oak and her 4 week old Whittington colt, fingers crossed she would just take the two on, But that was a bust also. With him eating and getting stronger on feeds with powder milk in it, was time to move two mares and three foals to the big paddock. After a couple of day finally we got a win with out other mare Peacefilly and her Wanted foal taking the boy on and letting him drink milk. What a perfect mum, she is worth her weight in gold.

12.01.2022 Our three babies for this season RIP (Quick Notice/Whittington), Jameson (Royal Oak/Whittington) and Summer (Peacefilly/ Wanted).

12.01.2022 While at the Melbourne cup gee string had other things on her mind, foaling this beautiful filly by doomsday last night.

11.01.2022 Merry Christmas to you and your family, many blessings from J A Hepworth Racing

11.01.2022 Third and final foal for us this session, Hippy (peacefilly) a domesday mare giving us a very long legged filly by wanted. This girl was very late to the party over three week from due date, ended up waiting for her paddock mate and foaling exactly 24hours apart.

11.01.2022 At midnight on the 11/11/2019 under a very bright full moon ‘beyond beautiful’ gave us this very big brown/black colt by ‘denman’. Mum and Bub are doing great

07.01.2022 Our boy beau (a little crafty) run a huge first up race at Toowoomba, finishing 3rd. Good luck to all involved. A special thanks to one of his owner Peter Rickards for everything you do with this boy.

06.01.2022 Wow what a night the big fella JT battle out over 1825m at Toowoomba to win. Huge effort by Adam Spinks alway riding perfect for us. Thanks everyone involved including owners Peter and Donna rickard, Tom Jackson and my partner Nicole Jackson. This boy just blows us out of the water with every run, and interesting to see how far he will get.

06.01.2022 Wow what a day, lady stepped up to the mark and won at Gold Coast by 2L, even with a cheeky prick of the ears once she got past the leaders. I would love to thank everyone involved, Nicole Jackson my partner in crime and half owner, Chris Meehan for a honest ride, Tom Driscoll for getting her hoofs right, Sarah maconachie for helping out with getting her head right, and her super fan club Peter and Donna rickards. Without everyone who has play a part in this girl journey we wouldn’t get her this far.

06.01.2022 Sassy (Passtow) run a massive 3rd at Beaudesert today. With this being her 2nd start, doing everything right. Another great ride from Adam Spinks giving her every chance to shine. We are very impressed with this buy and looking forward to seeing what the future holds for her.

04.01.2022 Just a few snaps from yesterday’s racing

03.01.2022 Little rip (Whittington x Quick Noted) enjoying a cuddle, Such a cool little man.

02.01.2022 Little Charlie (global venture) run a huge 2nd today at esk. This boy has taken a while to grow up but think he is figuring out the racing game. He is a special boy who has worked his way into our hearts even with his tantrums. Well done prince Charlie hopefully next start you are one place closer.
