11.01.2022 | Appreciation Post For those that don’t know, this is my bestie Shea. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank her for all her help with my small business, not just for yesterday at our Christmas market but over the years. . When I have a big market and need some help, she’s the first person to put her hand up to join me. Not to make money or get freebies, but purely because she cares and is an absolutely beautiful soul. .... Shea will help me set up, label candles for me, make sales, get rained on, tell everyone about her favourite scent (which is FRENCH PEAR by the way) and has even given herself the title of the box master (she doesn’t make them, but she boxes them). . 05.01.2022 | Happy Saturday! Let me introduce you to one of my candle studio assistants.. Our 4 year old miniature long haired Dachshund, Sascha. She is incredibly sassy and has some huge attitude for such a little girl. But she is also super chill and LOVES a cuddle and naps. Sooo many naps! . Here’s a not so fun fact: We actually lost Sascha on Christmas Eve last year after she decided to escape through a 10cm gap under the gate. If you recall, here in Perth it was a 40 degree da...y, and she was missing for over 5 hours! The worst hours of our lives!! But thankfully a perfect stranger handed her into our local vets, and with some hydration and monitoring by the Vet she was allowed to come home a few hours later. Fair to say that gate got fixed pretty quick and she now has the nickname Dora (the explorer). . When she’s not taking long walks in the park she helps with quality control. See more
