19.01.2022 The Silent Victims of the Australian Bush Fires... half a billion lives already lost, the Australian animals desperately need you! Ive thought long and hard an...d read all of your comments. Everything is so dire in our country right now with so many who need our support that its impossible to decide what is more important. So thats not how Ive based this decision. To me, this community has always been about you, what you want as well as me, and thats why Ive read all the messages. My good mate Celeste has done an incredibly mind-blowing job raising money for the firefighters and people affected. I seriously want that woman to run for PM, I am in awe of her as are her loyal, big-hearted followers. Taking that into consideration, I simply cant ignore the suffering and dying of injured and dehydrating animals of our country. The images of scorched animals, babies with no mummas and we have lost half a billion animals. Mums are forced to abandon their young its just heart-wrenching and the recourses for these incredible volunteers are extremely low. I am not minimizing the effects of the people whose homes have burnt, I did not make this decision lightly. And I will do more, I promise. But today I ask you to keep the incredible people at WIRES wildlife rescue in your hearts and if you can spare anything, we can use our Queen power, you will be saving innocent animals. WIRES are NSW based but its my understanding that they are dispersing funds to other states whos animals are in need. Thanks so much Queens for wanting to help, and helping me decide how to use this platform to help these poor babies.

18.01.2022 Please be aware that unfortunately we are now keeping a steady pace with being booked out a week in advance. We do apologise for the delay. It's just that time of year again. +hugs Jaime and the team x

11.01.2022 For those clients whose pups suffer with tear staining. This is copied from the balanced canine who put this up the other day for a bit of context & ... Lot's of little dogs suffer from tear stains and there is said to be a variety of reasons for this such as: Excessive tear production (Epiphora) Faulty tear ducts Yeast infection Eye irritation i.e. cigarette smoke, allergens etc. Glaucoma Conjunctivitis Inverted eyelids (Entropion) Shallow eye sockets (more so in brachycephalic dogs) Allergies Eye infections , ? Well! 4-6 Blueberries per day in small dogs is commonly recommended in small dog communities to reduce/eliminate tear staining. There are no studies to understand why this could be helpful so we can only take a stab in the dark and look the positives of Blueberries... Loads of antioxidants - these fight oxidation in the body Loads of phytoflavinoids - they help the body function more efficiently while protecting it against everyday toxins and stressors and are a powerful antioxidant agent. High in potassium and vitamin C Low in calories & high in nutrients May help improve brain function and improve memory Will Blueberries work for your dog? We have no idea!! But why don't you give it a go for a few months and let us know! It's unlikely to fix the existing tear stains, so you'll need be trimming those away. Be sure to smoosh your blueberries to make them as bio-available as possible. We'd recommend as well as feeding blueberries, that you transition your dog off kibble - no matter the claims that are on the front of the bag or from the manufacturer, kibble which is mostly plant matter "food" that is highly processed with synthetic nutrients to balance it - is this your vision for future health and wellbeing in your precious little one? In small dogs, it's so affordable to make the switch, simply head to the pet shop and purchase prepackaged balanced raw diets from brands such as Prime100 raw (not the cooked rolls), Big Dog, Proudi, Leading Raw, Dr B's. There are also dried varieties that are not kibble such as NZ K9 Naturals and Frontier which is freeze dried raw food + Ziwi Peak, Provadore and Kiwi Kitchens that are air dried raw foods. You can also learn how to make your own balanced fresh food by joining us at our fresh food group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/rawandfresh Be sure to see your Vet for a diagnosis.
