01.01.2022 So proud of Jaime, we were at the pool yesterday and she had a cap on as she had been doing some laps with me. She made a little friend about 5or 6years old and they had been playing for about an hour when she decided to take her cap off, the older girl immediately asked what those "things" on her head were (she was wearing her Aqua+) I was going to step in and explain but let my daughter have a go, her response was perfect! Word for word: "These things? These are my cochlear Implants. When I was born my ears didn't work, I am deaf, so my Cochlear Implants help me to hear, when I take them off I can't hear you, when I have them on I can hear you. Let's go play!"
