21.01.2022 Tractor Maintenance Everyone is working their machinery hard at the moment but reminder to take a few minutes to check over your tractor. We took this air filter out of a tractor this week that was not running. Air filters can become blocked quickly when working in the paddock. Make sure you check them regularly even if you have had a service and had them changed. Make sure both the outer and inner filter are clean and in working order. ... Your engine needs to breath to work. Be careful blowing filters out with air guns as you can cause small tears in the folds of the filter. This can cause dirt to go through and into the engine. It is not uncommon when working the tractors hard in dusty conditions to need to change the air filter in between services. It’s cheaper than an engine rebuild!! If you need help checking your filters or advice on how to check your filters give the office a call and we can assist.
