14.01.2022 This is a scale model I made for a public art proposal to be installed on Almondbury rd Perth. The site is close to wireless hill so much of the inspiration came from there. The rhombus shapes are taken directly from site plans of the radio antenna that use to sit on the hill. the direction of the points relates to the direction of the signal as reflected in their names "Melbourne" and "London". These antenna provided the first direct communication across Australia and opened... up whole new level of interconnectedness. The feathers are an acknowledgement of the sites ecological importance, being a feeding ground for the South Western Redtailed Cockatoo who's numbers are declining due to habitat loss, mostly from the sprawl of suburbs.Fingers crossed I get the green light! The wall is 9mx7m and this is a 1:20 scale model, the feathers would ideally be made from stainless steel and red perspex the allow the light through.
12.01.2022 https://vimeo.com/110210892 Investigating colour and time. One side is complete in the present while the other is in a state of transformation. The film is projected onto the board that it was filming, before being repainted white.

08.01.2022 Learning curve. A site specific work made for Undercliff wines for this years sculptures in the vineyards. The work was made from discarded vine clippings and branches and is totally self supporting.
06.01.2022 Flying fish sculpture installed in a paddling pool in Yallingup. The sculpture is made from stainless steel and depicts a sequence of flying fish leaping out of the water. I have seen this fish leap out the water while deep sea fishing and it always astounds me how far they can glide.
