24.01.2022 She lives again!!! Man, what an incredible feeling! Had to leave her in Thailand in December. Finally got her back in July. And after waiting soooo long for parts....Now I'll put her back together, get her registered. Then we'll really start having some fun

23.01.2022 Had a "small" problem the other day. My clutch cable snapped 30km's from the mechanic. Managed to make it within 500m without a clutch before Shirley stalled and I had to stop. Was able to repair, but have to be careful till I get a proper cable in Thailand. Other than that Just pushing to the border. The cable held me back a bit, but still confident I can make it in time @ Zen Cafe, Nongpoh

23.01.2022 Can you believe it. Another crazy day My chain broke as I was riding along and spent an hour looking for it and 10 mins to fix. These roads are insane. 10 hours to do 100km's. All good fun though @ Basti Maluk, Punjab, Pakistan

20.01.2022 A little experiment. I'm trying to figure out how difficult it is to export 1 frame of a video and post as an image. Didn't take that many photos of the trip. Plenty of videos though! This one is the one time I proper ran out of fuel in Iran and was helping by some friendly fuel smugglers ... Good times!!!

19.01.2022 Went for my first run in...a while yesterday. Couldn't even get 400m without running out of breath. Probably shouldn't have smoked on the trip. Had to start to cross the Iranian border...Sort of. Long story Also, finally got around to cleaning the crappiest and most expensive tent I've ever bought. North Face sucks! And this will be a continuing theme as I'm not getting rid of it either.

18.01.2022 Shirley didn't want to go this morning. So she had a lie in Nepal is fantastic! The roads are good, low traffic and the mountains and jungles are stunning Heading for Kathmandu today. Might stay for a full day. I have a little time up my sleeve. We'll see @ Krishnapur Municipality, Kanchanpur

18.01.2022 Last night's camp was one of my favourites. So peaceful. Also passed a guy on a bicycle yesterday but the road was to crazy to stop and chat. Then bumped into him again today! Legend of a guy named Matt. Making really good time for the Myanmar border on the 10th. But I gotta keep in mind that the roads and traffic will change when I get back into India. @ Kathmandu, Nepal

17.01.2022 Finally getting around to putting locks on the garage to keep Shirley safe. I have to wait for her new rear wheel. So... I'd also like to introduce Zeus. The giant oak tree in my backyard. He just started growing leaves after winter and I thought it would be fun to watch him grow and change throughout the year. Thoughts?

14.01.2022 She's back on the road!!! After 10 months I finally got her registered again. Took the long way home. Of course

14.01.2022 Remember the guy who was riding around the world, then disappeared off the face of it? Sorry about that. Lots to tell, but right now Shirley and I are reunited after 9 month! Not sure what the next adventure will be. Going to fix her (and me) and see what happens.

11.01.2022 SOMEONES KILLING ZEUS!!! Mother F*ckers!!! When I moved in I mowed the lawns with a friend. After, I saw a heap of marks on the roots. Thought it was my friend accidentally hitting it with the mower. A week later I saw a load of symmetrical holes around the base. I called a professional. He took one look at the holes and chips. Looked at me dead pan said " be honest with me mate, are you trying to kill this tree?".... It's undoubtedly the result of foul play. I've filled a police report and contact d the council about getting the tree registered as a "habitat tree". Cameras will.be next. Let's play!!!

09.01.2022 What a day!!! My veggies are sprouting nicely, picked up my bicycle from Dads house, grabbed a free lawnmower off hard rubbish and finished with dinner on the front lawn with a sunset. Not too shabby... Still wish Shirley's parts had arrived though...

08.01.2022 Myanmar is amazing!!! Such a beautiful country. Had an amazing time with some new friends. Just a shame we have to ride in a tour. You could explore for weeks. Shirley is getting pretty upset about being risen for so many days straight. But...as always, there is a local mechanic who can fix it @ Myanmar

03.01.2022 So there is a technique where you can remove the tire using a side stand, but she wasnt having it. Turns out there's a mechanic 2 mins away...literally Good news is my rim is cracked and I need a new wheel. Damn it...

01.01.2022 This is getting frustrating! I just want to go for a ride, but these parts are taking forever!!! Deep breath pal. They'll be here soon. . . . Zeus is doing well. His leaves have gained a bit more colour. I think I'll trickle water at the base of his trunk tomorrow. Give h a nice big drink!
